I think he earned a shot with his preseason performance.
Guest steggyD
Wow! That's when you know that your team has reached a new level. When your cuts are picked up by one of the "elite" teams of the NFL.

In the event of an injury. He could be resigned. However, who gets cut when Perry returns?

eva4ben-gal
I also think Watson gets the axe. He is the same type of back as Perry and Wilson would be the grinder if Rudi ever went down.
|Bengal Migration|
Wow. A guy who can't crack our roster makes the opening 53 for one of the elite teams, eh? Wow. You guys are right. This says a lot about our scouting, for an undrafted guy we spotted to get picked up by such a good team. It's not like he goes on their practice squad. Amazing. Marvin and Co have clearly righted the ship. Can't wait till they pull into the Port of Miami in February!
lslmustang
I wish him well and wish we could have groomed him on our practice squad, but I'm not surprised. I hope McNeal and Wiklerson make the PS but I'm wondering why our PS is such a secret. But I would think if either one of these players were signed to another team... we'd have heard about it by now. |BengalsFREAK|
Players couldn't be signed to practice squads until today. That's likely happening right now as we speak. I think the teams wanted to keep secret the list of players they want to keep in order to prevent other teams (rivals) from stealing them just for the sake of stealing.
