I'm a winner! :1hump:

I would like to thank my employer for not checking up on my internet habits! Most of all I would like to thank Hobson's 7th grade english teacher who without her encouragement Hobson would not be the talented writer he is!
you shut your mouth :shakesfist:
Somehow I knew this was coming...

Don't worry, I haven't been gone so long I've forgotten how to drink crappy, high-alcohol content beer. My last purchase was for this stuff:

A description I found on the 'net of this lovely brew-
its like they took 3 cans of skol and condensed them all into one can of skol. 3 times the sawdust flavour, 3 times the alcohol, 3 times the homeless appeal.
That pretty much sums it up ^_^ Truth is I'd much prefer a Nati Ice to this crap, but don't tell Bung

Scheme has him moving outside

The Bengals and free-agent linebacker Ed Hartwell quit talking on Thursday. They had nothing left to say to each other after agreeing to a contract.

Hartwell and the Bengals agreed to a one-year contract, an incentive-based deal that could earn Hartwell as much as $1.5 million. Hartwell signed a four-year deal with Atlanta in 2005 as an unrestricted free agent, a deal that included a signing bonus of $8.5 million, but injuries limited him to 13 games played the last two seasons. Hartwell suffered a torn Achilles tendon in 2005 and had arthroscopic surgery on both knees the week of last season's opening game.

Atlanta released Hartwell on March 2.

"The most important thing to realize is that Ed didn't finish last year on (injured reserve)," said Harold Lewis, Hartwell's agent. "The surgeries were just cleanups and he played the second half of the year."

"Hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things of staying in Cincinnati."

Hartwell has played as an inside linebacker the majority of his six seasons but indications are that the Bengals plan on playing second-year player Ahmad Brooks in the middle and moving Hartwell outside. Landon Johnson started 11 games at that spot last season. Johnson has played all three linebacker positions in his time with the Bengals.

Hartwell's first season in the NFL was with Baltimore in 2001, the last season Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis was the Ravens' defensive coordinator.

"You know he expects the defense to (be) really intense, to go out there, to hit people hard, to come downhill," Hartwell told Sirius NFL Radio. "We're going to leave (Brooks) in the middle. I'm going to slide over to the Will (weak-side) linebacker.

"Using my experience can help the other linebackers there and teach them some of the things that I've learned coming up in the league. Experience is a great thing in this league as you learn the little tricks of the trade. It's not all about speed. A lot of times it comes down to the little things which make you a good player."

Hartwell becomes the most experienced linebacker for the Bengals, who released Brian Simmons before free agency started. Simmons signed with New Orleans. Johnson has the second-most experience, having played in 48 games for the Bengals and leading them in tackles two of three seasons.
