[img]http://www.thompsonian.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/08/dlplamp.jpg[/img] Have a spare handy! You will be happy you did when the time comes! We have a 57" Mitsubishi, under a year old still and the damn lamp went out last friday. Happen on Friday which sucked cause had to wait till monday, and should have a replacement lamp tomorrow via mail. It sucks having to watch the small 20" tv now , glad it didn't happen during the season. Luckily still being under warranty the lamp is covered, but i'm buying another one just incase in the future. " good to go! Also LCD are still to small, for those of us that want BIG, (ya they come 65 inch now, but for 10k.. and they are always showing 80/100 inch LCDs @ trade shows but never see them for sale) If you're a big baller.. forget all the damn TVs, get your self a nice HD Projector, HDTV tv tuner, and a 100+ inch projection screen!
