Salary Cap page?

Recommended Posts

it still exists, http://cap.go-bengals.com

however, the NFLPA no longer makes contract terms public on their site, so getting up accurately updated is somewhat of an impossability.... for now..

i still refer to it as 90% is still valid, but its tough to factor in the new guys and guys leaving and reprecussions of both...

ill see if we can revive this...
Go,
Need to get Phat back on the job. I'd love to see where the 7.5 net savings obtained by cutting Rudi,Willie and Deltha went. I 've always been suspicious of the Bengals cap. Last year I saw that our cost of personnel was 99 million against a CAP of 109 million . However,I never saw it again.

Phat, time to warm up the spread sheet for which we are all appreciative.

Yeah they Bengals had spent (about) $99 million in 2007.
But if you look at the link above, they spent $11 million
over the cap in 2006 (The cap was $102 milliion in '06,
the Bengals spent over $113 million). So that about evened it out.

That link doesn`t have anything posted about the '08 cap yet though.
