Some of the names are not surprising, others are "Who the heck is that?"

UNC could have been awfully good if not for the suspensions.

It's interesting, but there are so many underclassmen that its hard to judge the rankings. Seems like most of the top guys are all juniors (Newton, Gabbert, AJ Green, Julio, Dareus, Fairley, Bowers, Ingram, Peterson, etc.) and wouldn't have been eligible for these rankings.

a little known fact (i'm assuming). the guy who got marcel dareus his two game suspension for providing him with an illegal airline ticket to attend a party in miami (hosted by potential NFL agents) was none other than marvin austin, who also served a even heavier suspension this year for his association with those same agents. it would appear they are close friends.

marcel got off with a slap on the wrist and a 2 game suspension for this incident (thank you alabama boosters for all that help). also keep in mind it's not dareus who's considered the DT with character issues, it's nick fairley... go figure! nick's character issues have more to do with his sticking georgia's QB's face in the dirt than anything else. oh, that and the phantom call against 'bama's QB, that was unwarranted. i'm like coach hayes, if that's all we have to coach out of them, fine. we can work with that.
