Georgetown....August 6

Most likely heading down for training camp Saturday August 6...
just wondering if anyone else might be interested in
getting a caravan going....head down early, spend the day,
head home afterwards...maybe even meet early and
possibly carpool?

save some gas...split parking?!?

Just a thought....
we should rent a bus.
[post="105775"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Okay... I made a couple phone calls about doing the bus thing just for kicks...

Peterman costs $40 per hour but they take into consideration the mileage also so it's more...

C&C travels, inc.... is $85 per hour, 5 hour minimum

Charter Bus Service....is calling me back......

The Saturday, August 6 is the Black and orange mock game...starts at 1:00 p.m.
Gates open at noon - close 3:45 (autograph session @ 2:30)

figure we could leave by 10:30 - arrive approx noonish
leave camp when it closes by 4 - arrive home by 5:30...

thats 7 hours rental total, whichever way we go....we would need
at least 20 people to committ, which means...pay up front and if you
bail...no money back!

the best place to actually meet for the bus is a School right off I-74 called
St. Ignatius...huge lot, easy to find, right off the interstate and 10 min from
downtown...NorthBend Rd. Exit...

thoughts??? looking at probably $20-30 per person....too much? worth it in gas??

oh yeah... it's $25 parking fee for buses at the camp....

Good luck on the couple thing...I'm an easy person to ge along with
but I didn't like going to a strange couple's house and talking about
marriage...the couple we got was flat out goofy!!!! I couldn't wait
to get out of there! haaaaa haaa haaaa....you have to write a bunch
of stuff about feelings, what you expect from the future, children, family tree stuff then share it with the couple...
just things to familiarize yourself with the wife to be...surprisingly,
you find out little things you didn't know about the person your going to marry...
it might have been alot better if we didn't have the world's nerdiest
couple....

the first thing I said when we left the first night....

"Oh my Gawd...what a couple of fruit loops!"

we can always revert back to just meeting at that school
and carpooling....I don't mind driving a few people
(if you can handle my driving)

hhhmmm.....wonder how much it would cost
to rent a van from a rental car place...that might
be worth it.... :)

anyone got connections to any rental places
like Thrifty, Hertz or something?
