Randle P McMurphy
This is my first attempt at a mock for the 2015 draft. Round 1) Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford. 6'7" 313 lbs. Big, athletic Tackle. With Whitworth and Smith being FA's next year and Whitworth not getting any younger, the Bengals take the best available Tackle at #21. (Side note) I don't think Whitworth's play has fallen off. Just better to be safe than sorry. Round 2) Carl Davis, DT, Iowa. 6'5" 320 lbs. This guy could push Domata Peko for the starting NT job. In my opinion he's an upgrade over Peko, at worse, he's a nice piece to add to the rotation. Round 3) Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State. 5'10" 182 lbs. Speedy WR with 4.4 speed. Definitely someone that could stretch the field. Battles Sanu for the slot WR spot and could return kickoffs as well. Round 3b) Jesse James, TE, Penn. St. 6'7" 261 lbs. Just about kill 2 birds with 1 stone with this pick. Good blocker and good hands. Catches the ball in traffic really well. Red Zone Threat. Round 4) Donovan Smith, OT, Penn. St. 6'6" 338 lbs. Doubled up on OT. With Whitworth and Smith both being FA's next year, it doesn't hurt. Besides, you can never have enough talented offensive linemen. He's too good to pass up in Rd. 4. (May not even be here). Round 4b) Zach Hodges, OLB, Harvard. 6'2" 250 lbs. May seem like a reach in Rd. 4 and possibly is. True 4-3 OLB'ers in this draft are hard to come by so if you want/need one, you may have to take them a round sooner. 4.6 40 time is decent for his size. Round 5) Adrian Amos, S/CB, Penn. St. 6'0" 218 lbs. Marvin likes interchangeable safety's, well here you get a safety that can also play CB. He played both at Penn. St. If he's here in Rd. 5, in my opinion, you jump on him! Round 6) Nick Boyle, TE, Delaware. 6'4" 268 lbs. You need a "blocking" TE? Here he is. With some work, he could be an all-around TE. Another double up here because all we have right now are Eifert and Brock. I'd roll with Eifert, James and Boyle. Round 7) Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor. 5'10" 209 lbs. Dude is built like a brick shit house and has speed as well. Ran a 4.44 - 40 yd. dash. He's a 5th year Senior (plenty of experience) and has Kick off return experience as well. Hey, it's the 7th round! :)
Jason
If Lockett actually makes it to our 3, that's a good draft.
Bengals1181
I think Lockett and Smith end up going earlier, but I'd be pretty happy if the draft went that way. I don't get two OT's though.
spicoli
well they do potentially need a LT and a RT......might not be a bad idea.

Bengals1181
How long is Winston's contract? 1yr. I wouldn't hate it, and I really like Donavan Smith, I'm just not sure I see it happening unless they think Smith can also backup guard. I love Peat, but it sounds like he's more of an OT only guy. EnglishBengal
This is a Penn State homie draft! Not a bad draft.
Randle P McMurphy
This is a Penn State homie draft! Not a bad draft. Wasn't planned that way. Actually an Ohio State fan. haha 1181, not sure about Peat playing Guard but Smith could be a "road grader" at Guard if need be, but also Tackle. Who knows what'll happen with Whitworth and Andre Smith and with Eric Winston only on a one year deal, it makes sense in the 4th. (Or it least it did to me.) I actually think Donovan Smith is gone by the 4th round to be honest.
