  1. The article referenced states like Texas and counties in Florida where attendance of NFL games was more significant, like 20-30k per home game. The research is consistent with the known patterns of the virus, which is large gatherings of people are bad...mmmkay Also, this study came from the liberal hotbed that is the University of Southern Mississippi aka Sorosville of the South. If Goodell has full capacity, which is what he said he will do, then these games have a high chance of becoming super spreader events. Hopefully more people get vaccinate

  3. My latest masterpiece....trading back in the second makes sense if Marshall is gone. Sewell is the pick, Chase won't make it past ATL.

  5. I'd rather have a first round talent OL and a 2nd round talent WR than the other way around.

  6. By September everyone who wants a vaccine should have it. Heck, that will probably be true by July. It's your prerogative to not get a vaccine, but if you choose to also attend a large gathering, well....that's on you.

  8. Def not a great rep. Sewell is awesome, but the narrative that if we take him Burrow is safe and if we pass on him Burrow is dead is so much bullshit. Sewell has work to do. If we take him, I want him at RG this year learning from Reiff. Given his youth and relative inexperience, that is I think best for his development and best for the team.

  10. I live in Atlanta and listen to the local sports radio station that is the flagship for the Falcons all the time. They frequently interview Blank and he makes it clear that he loves Ryan. Mainly because he saved his franchise after Vick tanked his brand for killing and fighting dogs and took his franchise to a Superbowl which lead to a new stadium. He has publicly stated that Ryan and Julio would be Falcons for life and their contracts are structured that way with huge amounts of dead money. Ryan will be the QB until his contract expires and the Falcons will either draft Chase, Pitts, or trade

  11. Fontenot knows Chase better than any prospect in this draft and every reason the Bengals have for drafting him applies to the Falcons as well. They have two aging stars with big contract, Ryan and Jones, that are looking to win now who would benefit if the Chase. Also it allows then cut Julio and not have a huge whole in the roster. Chase grew up in Fontenot's backyard literally and played college ball in his hometown, he knows what Chase brings to a team and I wouldn't be surprised if the Falcons drafted him at 4.

  14. I think league wide, over 50% of the free agent contracts signed this year are one year deals. I think everyone wants to see that the salary cap is going to be next year before making a long term commitment on both the owners' and players' parts.

  16. Frankenknee... AND ... Update to an old thread comment. The crayfish/crawdads/crawdeads/mud bugs on the Steak Burrow at The Precinct ARE edible. Had dinner there last evening with son and lady friend and while I did not order it (three filets, two barrel house, one petite) I did ask the waiter who confirmed that, yes, you eat em'.

  20. MY FULL TAKE Overall, it is a little underwhelming. Some improvements, a few downgrades, and a few missed opportunities. There are 2 combos that really work for me (orange top & black pants + black top & black pants) and one combination that is hideous (orange top and white/orange pants). [Improvements] - Removing the white side panels. - Getting rid of wrap around pants point. - Paul Brown signature inside the neck. - Better shade of orange on the orange jerseys, less neon-y than before. - The sleeves are not different colors like befor

  21. I do too, I just don't expect the Bengals to do that. I fully expect (and hate) the team to draft Chase at 5. Why? He will score touchdowns. Burrow wants him. And he will sell jerseys. Lets face it, olinemen aren't sexy. And the less you hear an their name the better. Round 2 will come around and there will be some non OL guy who is "not supposed to be there" and would be an "absolute steal". Bengals draft him. Because reasons. Round 3 comes around and the brain trust switches to BPA. No OL is worth their 3rd round pick so they draft a (insert position here). Same thing happens

  22. Since you asked? I'd guess only after a few more seasons of losing & JB getting Bungalized combined with the younger Blackburns seeing the wall coming with the stadium deal. I think the NFL would slowly start pressuring them to sell or restructure if they had to move due to declining local support. We know the other owners are well sick of carrying some sanctimonious old fart that talks down to them. IOW I think they need to end the playoff win drought before the stadium deal becomes an issue. Blow it with JB and this "New Dey" campaign and they have very little leverage to

  23. I was probably one of the biggest detractors of selecting Higgins last year. I'm glad he turned out to be a good player but it was still a dumb pick. There were good Oline players in the 2nd round last year that would have made a bigger difference than Higgins. It's pretty simple when you a have an elite QB. Give them time and they will find open receivers and it also prevents your RB from getting him behind the line of scrimmage everytime they touch the ball. If only the Bengals front office could understand this.
