  1. Just referring to making it through the brutal dead time between OTA's and actual training camp. Funny considering the NFL has a hold on nearly the entire calendar, so this 1 month stretch feels brutal. No real news, no press conferences, analysts/beat-writers manufacturing articles and stories out of nothing, etc. Hey, at least nothing about any injuries or arrests to key players so that's good! Definitely don't like to see posters leave. I like this board, and check it multiple times a day. Any time I see a bolded topic, I look forward to reading someone's input. This place is great when there is a lot of traffic, a lot of varying viewpoints. There has been a lot of losing in recent years so it is unsurprising that attendance has dwindled and tempers flare occasionally. Hopefully the Bengals start putting shit together and we all have a winning team to cheer for soon.

  2. This is Zac's team now, there are no excuses for him anymore. There is pretty much nothing left from the ML era in the football department.

  3. There were no preseason games last year and JB didn't seem to have much of an issue going 0 to 60 there. If he doesn't take a preseason snap, but participates fully in preseason workouts he should be ahead of where he was last year week one. JMO

  4. I think he will start the home preseason opener but only play a series. Maybe two to show his new stripes and jack up the home crowd fans.

  5. That Gary Reaasons bill-tweak of Dave Shula on Monday Night Football, before a world audience, was the crowning moment of Bengalsdom.

  6. The way I see it…that offense looked unstoppable at times last year with a rookie JB behind center. Even with shitty Brandon Allen in there they had some pretty good moments as an offense. That, to me, doesn’t scream “unqualified”. There’s also something to be said about the fact that, to a man, every player on the team seems to genuinely like/respect the guy.

  7. Jimmy Johnson went 1-15 his first year with the Cowboys then 7-9 the following year (which is what Zac would have probably finished last year had Burrow not been hurt). Then he won 2 of the next 3 Super Bowls after building with top draft picks. So Zac deserves one more year to prove his plan is working. For my part, I think the Bengals make the playoffs and Zac wins coach of the year this season (as long as Burrow stays healthy).
