  1. thats what the 70th out of 76 guards in the nfl gets you. oh shit, should ahve thought, just coach the 70th out of 76 guards in the nfl to be awesome... every tem should just make their bad players good! that is indeed their specialty. love to see it. sounded like it, when we scored, it roared. since we get ball do they get to pick direction in both halves or something?
  2. mixon had some beautiful runs when there was nothing there and he got 4-8 out of it still, he continues to play well. gotta complain about something. lol yea, they arent really the focal point of the play most times. its that or spike it. ryan leaf of fan bases. maybe at FB, pressure is getting in up the middle, wouldnt mind seeing joe jump over the pile more, but maybe we are a little shy after what we did to the ravens in the playoffs.
  3. fucking nailed it... lmao. i hope he has 15 more sweaters. he did not catch that. are you watching on a phone or something. it was pretty clear on the slow replay. he was not, what are yall watching? man so close, fumble fingers, no gloves for him, some sticky gloves and he had that.. played his balls of. the flea flicker would have been a great icing on the cake. thats it, LESS protection will fix pressure.
  4. Dallas sucks dick, the beat the giants, jets and patriots, who had a combined 3 wins coming into today, and after today have 4 total wins amung them... trash ass call, soft ass ref. i think sometimes it takes a few series of seeing what they are doing to be able to adapt to it. why, he didnt do anything wrong. call was trash. he isnt good. too many folks seem to expect a defense with like 4 either rookie or 2nd year guys or new guys to the team or injury recovering guys, to be amazing like the one full of health veteran top at their position filled defense. these growing pains suck and are frustrating.. but it is what it is. lol. it was not.
  5. i personally think part of the problem is he is down the check list so far 3rd option, that often he isnt checked to as the plays are not lasting that long, like we are rushing the reads to protect joe and Boyd is never gotten to. boy did this come true. he doesnt.. thats not what.. ah jesus... so many money of initial cringe then he was fine and surprise and joy of expanding the offense a bit. love to see it. so so so damn quick my wife jynxed that one, she cant be trusted, defender gets near the QB and shes like "YES!! SACK" and its literally escaped every time she does it.. she cant be trusted. hollywood brown has been used like that all year for them, i think i brought it up in the cardinals week thread, thats their thing, bring brown across until he has a mismatch and just throw it... also davis isnt very good. playing lights out, hope that back holds up all season. man i wish we had th eluxury of worrying about shutouts.
  6. jake browning > 7/7 he is playing really well, had 2-3 potential mental errors this year, but his skillset is bananas. i called this, ask my kid or dan savage.. called it, perfect guy for where the offense is, realiable, quick for the important underneath stuff. i am curious about this stuff, in another game, there seems to be some judgement fluff in this rule now, where if the guy is moving forward "in the process of squaring his shoulders" its ok, which seems suspicious, so i guess they are only going to call it if you hit the line at an angle moving forward? or when they wanna fix games. battle makes some good and some bad, more project in him than hill by a lot, but he shows flashed of being a factor, hope it plays out that way. i like him too RT is our highest rated lineman at the moment. and teams done trade good linemen unless they dont think they can sign them. which means we wouldnt be able to sign them either. if there is a Tee trade it needs to be for picks to replace Tee the slim speed rushers get around him, best he can do is bush them to a wider route, that drop was deep, wombo combo of hell. Brown is great at everything, except the specific style speed rusher, like he may do ok against a big Bosa type, but would get worked by the Cowboys dude. forget his name currently. yea its strange seeing him that agile, LOVE to see it, while i hate to watch it, if that makes sense.
  7. well he is 25 spots higher than volson for guards in the NFL right now... thats a pretty steep difference. problem with karras helping is volson cant then go under and cover the stunt when they stunt, today dudes came from all the way outside and he didnt even flinch while karras was pushing his man outside from inside.
  8. ah jesus christ. we are opposites, i drain the swamp liquid onto an extra plate. BD(before dalton) i would eat donatos most days, but AD(after datlon) going with my kid its the different plan. stayed in covington a few times, mostly when we had 6am flights, otherwise up in union center where a frischs, UDF, and larosas are within 3 miles. and skyline 500 ft away. Celebritory or consolitory graeters ice cream in the mix whenever possible.
  9. jake browning would have done better. they just want to run joe into the ground so they have an excuse for something (i forgot what he said)
  10. lol, yes, if a completely different things had happened then things would be different.. thats how all things work man. assuming the BILLION dollar company with a dozen professionals, doctors, trainers and decisions makers involved, is perhaps, making educated choices, wasnt much of a gamble, tbh. one more game of hopefully everyone making the right decisions, including joe on the field, and we are in a really good spot... people sitting at home assuming they were putting the 275 million dollar boy in serious harms way for shits and grins is absolutely bananas. he gets hurt in the next game, that would suck, but he has been hurt plenty of times with a healthy calf.
  11. seahawks team rank is top 10 sliding in at 9 overall, and offense, is ranked 7th before today. but they are on bye, which sucks, they get 2 weeks to prepare for us. they are bottom half of the league in pass blocking. overall 11th ranked defense, #3 in run defense. #6 in pass rush, 9 sakcs against jones is doingsome heavy lifting in this rating, with just 4 games, 17 total sacks, so in the other 3 games they averaged just under 3 per game. so human. 17 qb hits in 4 games as well. 4 per game. nothing outrageous. 3 batted passes. witherspoon and love are playing lights out at corner and safety. 10 of their sakcs came on blitzes, which isnt shocking or anything, joe typically gets rid of the ball ,espeically now that he same some minor mobility.
  12. their line actually sucks worse than ours surprisingly. wagner and Nwosu are to be reckoned with, Reed is way better than volson, but if they double there stunting to the middle volson cant recover, but we have faced 3 pass rushed better than the seahawks, glad you brought this up, illl have to watch that game of theirs first. also daniel jones is an idiot and sucks ass.
  13. lol did you think of any reasons? lol, nailed it. he should not have been. "may" no, for sure that dude whose never played, from washington, which plays non nfl style offense, and was a practice squad guy for the vikings for two years then us, was going to do wonders against the best defefenses and pass rushes on the schedule with guys he could only get a few weeks reps with. or the guy who doesnt know the offense yet, either one i guess. did they.... did they ride him into the ground? is he in the ground? its not like.... keeping getting the reps... and lettin the offense and consistency continue maybe gave us the best chance to win, and now may be like, produced a slightly above mediocre offense, with one game left before the bye where hopingfully everyone can come out the other side healthy and fully in sync....nothing like that happened right?
  14. ugh omg bench burrow arleady. i am 50/50 currently, will keep you updated.
  15. glad its not something going to last longer term than that, but its mostly what we expected i think. or hoped for? i dont see a scenario where we beat the 49ers, so it would be killer to grab these next two, and be 3-4 after the SF game. its followed by bills and texans, bills will want revenge and texans are better than terrible these days. then ravens steelers and jags, before hitting the colts who will have taylor back assumably. finishing off vikings steelers KC and browns. need 8 wins for a playoff shot, is we can squeeze these two, we can finish out 6-4 and be in the running
  16. good good... hope they get the win, players dropping like flies this week. a "get your head out of your ass" speech then a loss would cause some heavy frustration. but a win and everyone is up and ready to work.
  17. never eat at the stadium ever, if im in the state for a short time the last thing im eating is the worst possible version of somerthing at the stadium, we just eat before and after. man no smell, what a time to be alive, that place stunk so bad especially behind the scenes. i worked there in 1998-2000 somewhere, did 2 summers. oof, dont think i could do anything skyline related in the morning. oh sweet, always hated seeing goldstar as the opption at CVG, tho we usually hit graeters in the delta terminal more than anything. i ate at that eastegate one after the 2015 playoff loss, drenched and sad.
  18. was ok. ill have to watch again when im not exhausted from nonsense early meetings
  19. also, not throwing picks and throwing touchdowns will gain your rating ground fast on PFF, so if joe came out threw no picks and had 3 TDs and 250 yards against AZ by chance, he would probably jump 8 spots.
  20. yea, with it being just 4 games, getting torched in coverage all around be the ravens and titans, thats 2 of 4 games even wilson was getting beat, it hurts the overall score a lot. if they play even average for 4 week going forward these numbers would jump a bit for everyone. lol irv smith is 25. defense was good once, decent once, and really really bad twice. offense was terrible, mediocre, ok-ish, and terrible.
  21. yea his full locker interview was pretty chill and straight forward, the clip of "im always fucking open" was whored out like he was throwing a tantrum. social media clickbait headlines have ruined sports journalism.
  22. i know, i throw a joke out there from time to time. funny you mention the sugar, i squeeze the extra sauce off the slices as the sauce is a bit sugary (not as bad as like pizza hut) i dig the dough flavor and like the cheese blend. tongue in cheek you say love to see it. we almost made skyline, but we had it over the weekend so we had breakfast for dinner instead tonight, work dinner last night Random fact. I had a business dinner, in which i tried salsa for the first time. i am 42.
  23. FINALLY an opinion we can all lock into, some tackle no one cares about who played for a team we embarrassed a bunch of times while he was there.
