He legit believes people are real-life demons for horrible crimes like trying to save Medicare. Sorry, but that's mental illness. I can't pretend that's a rational adult. It's the same sort of vile rhetoric the Nazis used to dehumanize the Jews. They weren't fellow humans, they were some kind of otherworldly evil.

Man's delusional. The demons are hiding his car keys. Better pave over some more rose bushes, I hear demons like to hide in those.

They've been bringing lawsuits for years. The POTUS is a convicted felon, routinely ignoring court orders. Our legal system isn't going to save us.

Current State of things
Fanatics & extremists convince themselves everyone else is just as twisted as they are in order to justify their behavior to themselves. In their minds they are the moderate sensible people & only forced to violent extremism by the enemy (who must be both terrifying and numerous but also cowardly and weak at the same time - fascism 101). You know, the Evil Libs are coming to eat their babies. Antifa super-soldiers will attack any day now! I heard someone speaking Spanish, they must be MS13!!! Save us, Daddy Trump! They live in a constant state of fear where petty cruelty looks like strength to them. Pitiful, really.

Keeping Our Enemies Close: 2025
He does seem like a good person & easy to root for but watching HK he couldn't read coverages very well at all. Tunnel vision, it looked like. If he had the chance to work in a decent offense that was built around him from the start of TC that would probably improve.

Keeping Our Enemies Close: 2025
I don't know that they expect it but I wonder if either someone came off their board or they think their top QB will go 1 or 2 & the next-best is too big a drop off compared to other positions. They need help all over & the best OT, DE, WR might be more appealing. Could try to trade down but yeah, I think they could end up playing Winston.

Random 2025 Bengals related stuff
It is a nice hoodie. I'd bet a $5 scratcher he either had those sweatpants in his locker or got them off an equipment dude that morning and hadn't slept. I'm pulling for him to turn it around, though. He wasn't drunk off his ass getting in fights in the hotel. I'm sure Chase & Tee would straighten him out but he has to make the effort. Hopefully they get some staff a little more involved too so it doesn't get to the point of another eviction. Let him sleep on Ocho's old couch in the back rooms while he gets himself together.

These 2 are fuckin' geeked out of their minds on something. That's the lunatic running our country from behind the scenes, unlocking the mysteries of the universe in his silverware while his baby momma tries to sit still. RFK, Linda McMahon, Tulsi, Hegseth, this guy.. How many more can they fit in the clown car?

Bengals FA Signings - 2025
They really should, and an LDE as well. I hope Ossai & Patrick kick ass or some rookie runs away with the job, but why bet the season on that happening? $90M+ against the cap dedicated to 3 players and they can't find an extra $10-20M to not risk two gaping holes in the OL/DL? Patrick & Ford vs Volson is how they protect that investment? Wild stuff. Don't quite follow the logic there. Got a real "hiding diamonds in your sock drawer" type energy.

Got mixed up with Iran-Contra through Jackson Stephens & the BCCI, among his other related activities โ I doubt that was the start, & then they're all over the Epstein docs like Trump. Don't know much about his time as Gov of AR but he was the first President of my lifetime that I thought was completely bought & sold. Some pandering to the fundies but it was all stained cocktail dresses and saxophone solos after dark. So scandalous! Seems almost quaint compared to a felon convicted of embezzling money to pay off a porn star & his rape victims. I think Clinton really killed the idea that a President should be worthy of respect to hold the office. Obama, for his faults, at least appeared to take the job seriously and act like an adult. Because, well.. look at us now.

Because money, duh. Corpo welfare for the arms industry is what we do best. I think the President pitching a self-branded hotel resort for the sight of the massacre is a new low, though. USA! USA! Let's bomb Winnipeg!

Bengals Extend Ja'Marr & Tee ๐งก ๐ค
I think they assumed they'd be doing that every year from then on because Joe Burrow. Through neglect and mismanagement their game beyond throwing TDs suffered. They seem to recognize that now but I'm not convinced that they know how to fix it. I wish they were more willing to imitate how other teams do things where their own special way isn't working out for them. One thing I like about Pumpkin is I don't get the impression she's trying to be so nice. She may be happy to manage the team like a trust fund but I don't think she's interested in running a group home or some kind of charity organization. There's only one major holdover from the old man's hires and Duke's bound to retire soon. I expect we'll see a real meritocracy take hold after that happens. I think she wants to wring every cent out of the NFL franchise vault & that requires winning football. I think we are still expected to pretend they haven't gone 9-8 and missed the playoffs after a disappointing start two years in a row. Yes, Joe was injured, but that happened in week 11 after dropping to 5-4 against the Texans at home. Not exactly setting the world on fire before he went down & Browning performed well enough in his absence. I'd like to see Trey inked so maybe the focus is on football in camp this year.

If a frog had wings.. Turning it on at the 11th hour against poor competition doesn't prove they were a good team all along. It just proves they were lazy and entitled.

There's no room for legitimate criticism or even doubts because, y'know, fascist cult. Either 100% up Trump's ass without question at all times, or you're the Evil Lib enemy. Consequently his ever-growing list of enemies now includes such existential threats as Canada and rose bushes. This guy would outlaw birds if a pigeon shit on him. Total kook behavior from the Douchebag-in-Chief, thank the gods he's so fucking stupid as it mitigates the damage somewhat. Imagine how bad it would be if he was competent & focused instead of waving his shriveled dick around & ranting about pop stars on social media at 4am in all caps. Someone get Grandpa his pudding and put on some Matlock before he stabs one of the White House staff with a pen.

Bengals FA Signings - 2025
Do you think this is the best guard they could possibly get or do you think they're trying to save some money & hope the draft provides an upgrade? I have a hard time believing it's the first thing, admitting that doesn't necessarily prove the 2nd. They're turning down Cincinnati to go play in Nashville, Cleveland, Phoenix? That doesn't sound right, either. I was hoping they'd sign someone better than "consistently around average". Sure, he's probably good enough to be an upgrade. It's not exactly setting a tone, though. It sounded like they might bring in a difference-maker, a guard that's been very obviously good at it without needing to compare PFF grades. There were a few like that on the market and we got none of them. Because they had strong feelings about what's called "chili", or wanted outrageous contracts, or what? I'm ready to be convinced Lucas Patrick was their best or even only option, at least until the draft or they surprise us with another pick-up. I get the impression they're kinda done with FA until May at least.

If they play out most of their contracts it'll look like a bargain by the time they're done.
