Whatever dude. Prince, Wallace and Hamilton are going to put the Kentucky-style defensive smackdown on Wade (in revenge for their NCAA loss, Tayshaun remembers) and Taco Neck Icy Hot Man.
And I do realize that only Prince played at UK. But the Pistons play <<gasp>> team defense in the NBA!
What a concept!

Isn't that the truth man. I really have no preference here...but i always remeber watching Wade play in college and i never knew how he would do in the NBA but it seems as if he, lebron and Carmelo are the new wave of competition. It may get better to watch...but college still owns. If we could only get rid of the foreigh players...we could watch our favorite college player play. I still have a hard time watching someone with a name i couldn't pronounce make a game winning 3 pointer against some team then no that some americans are cheering for him to beat our U.S. team because he plays for their favorite team and they are his favorite player.

But you do realize that every time that would happen...he would get right back up. He plays with his heart on his sleeve...and it's nice to watch that...or at least try.

That sounds a bit racist, because without the foreign players, there wouldn't be any white dudes in the NBA!
:ninja:
Seriously though, I totally prefer college ball, and I always wish that good players would play for four years before going pro.
But I do admire the Pistons (with the passing interest I have in the NBA) because Tayshaun Prince and the boys play the kind of defense I like.
I hate the formerly mandated "man-on-man" rule in the NBA and I'm glad they allowed zone defense.
Otherwise you have guys standing around, not switching, watching the best athelets on the team compete one-on-one....boring.
Basketball is a RUNNING game, and teams should be constantly RUNNING! That's why teams with a good bench in college usually prevail over more-talented but less deep teams.
It is truly best enjoyed as a team sport, not some Allen Iverson parade show......

 I never thought of the no white guys. Oh well if there playing here there usually making threes.

I wish NCAA would install a at least 3 year rule instead of just 1 or the NBA in that case. It's such a glorius game to watch because there not playing for money...they are playing for the pride of their school. In the draft you see some foreign project get picked instead of a player that tore the college level up and then that foreign played doesn't pan out and your favorite college player is behind some guy that is currently on the all star team. He probably wont see the floor for 4-5 years.

I have no knock against the Pistons...i just hate seeing teams repeat. I also don't like rasheed wallace for some reason never really have..reminds me of Dennis Rodman.

+ it would be boring if we had no dissagreement. If everyone went through agreeing then the threads would be kind of boring to read. Jesus and Dubya is some fun to read just because of the different stances. I figured i would be a oddball and usually am in a lot of things besides football around here and probably soccer.

Oh, I don't really like Sheed either, he's in that thug category that I despise, and truth be told, I've watched so little of these games I'm not really qualified to have an informed opinion, but I do read about them, and have watched enough to know how certain players play, and I enjoy catching the Pistons D now and again.....
And NCAA hoops still rules....

And probably always will. It's sad to see former players go though. I would love to watch my favorite players in the NBA but probably will never have the drive too.

College is probably the only thing i have to look forward to after Bengals football is over. Im hoping the bengals over lap into febuary this year though...i would be fine with that.

Pistons? How about Prince? 7 of the first 9 points for the Pistons? Did he come out to play in game 7 or what? Wow, he was doing it all. Great game, and yeah, how about those Pistons? Champs of 2006.

That Pistons D sure is taking it to him huh? Don't kid yourselves, the Pistons were a Wade injury away from not making the Finals last year. Series ain't over yet but.......it isn't looking too good.

Well, here goes. Probably the last game... Nice season, too bad they couldn't finish it off with the championship.

Yeah, yeah, I'm writing them off before the game starts. :(

Pistons come off with the win...I think we can win the series now...tonights game was the only game I was worried about..I think Detroit goes into Miami and beats them on their own court and goes back to Detroit for game 7..DEEEETROITTTTT BASKETBALLLLL!!!!!

I kinda had the opposite reaction. I went into the game thinking that Detroit would win bc they are a good team and with their backs to the wall at home, they HAD to come up with a win (for Christ's sake they are not the Nets). Game in 6 in Miami is the series right there, although I still think it is tough to beat a good team (Heat) 3 straight times. Good fun for the weekend.
