All trades should be announced by both teams in a format similar to this:

"The Oakland Raiders agree to trade the #1 pick to the Detroit Lions for the #2 pick"

Then

"The Detroit Lions agree to trade the #2 pick to the Oakland Raiders for the #1 pick"

Each team involved needs to submit a post confirming the trade

Can someone PM Montecore and let him know he's on? I'm at work and it keeps signing me out...

Also whoever picks should PM the next person so they know they're up.

With the 2nd pick in the 2007 draft, the Detroit Lions select: OT Joe Thomas, Wisconsin.

The Lions hope that Thomas can strengthen an offensive line that gave up the second most sacks in the NFL. With this move, former left tackle Jeff Backus will likely be moved to the right side or guard to make room for Thomas.

The turds are now on the clock.

Browns: Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma

With the trade of Droughns and the signing of Jamal Lewis to just a one year deal, the Browns have set up a perfect scenario to for Adrian to be succesful.

A QB does not amke sense behind a line that will be trying to mesh for most of the year, with two maybe LTs entirely unproven at the spot. Calvin Johnson was heavily considered but the Browns larger hole is at RB with the trade of Droughns.
Wow I cant believe either of you (Oak and Cle) didnt take Russel.
It was a tough choice ...in all honesty, I was trying to decide between Russell and Johnson for most of the last few weeks ...the Quinn choice kinda snuck up on me.

Given that I was unable to trade down, though, Quinn is the only player I felt was worthy of first pick money. And I think he'll hands down have a better career with his first team than Russell will.
are we doing it where you have to PM the person after you?
that would be the curtious thing to do.

Also can someone create a 'already picked' thread meaning one that has the mock itself, and maybee one that has players already picked by position? (we did this last year)

I just added the top 100 to the bottom of the list, it will be easier I think. I'll keep up with it the best I can, and add players later on.

I believe that was Matt Six (is that the same person as Tigris?)

Yeah your right. I thought JC was Matt Six for some reason, but now that you said Tigris I remember.

I can't believe Jamarcus isn't going in the top 5... makes this tough to take seriously

although there are some great players at the top of this draft, I'd say 100% chance OAK takes him (I guess they COULD take Johnson), and if they don't I think Detroit (MIGHT take Thomas instead) or if not them surely Cleveland (I can't see them passing Russell for Peterson) will take him.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him fall out of the top 5. He is extremely raw and really has only played 1 good year of college football. He has a huge bust factor, and really has got by with just pure arm strength throughout his career. He also has been labeled as lazy. That being said, there's no way in hell he makes it past the Texans.
Wow with the Vikings needing a QB, Jason just had probabally the top guy fall in his lap.
I don't know though, they did pick Tavaris Jackson last year in round 2, and seem to really like him.
