Living In Cincinnati

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have about 2 years or so till I finish my degree program in account. At this point once I get out I am looking at places to move. One of them is cincinnati. I was just curiouse What are the cost of things in cincinnati comapred to the rest of the US. Less expensive more expensive. Is there alot of things to do?? I mean as a bengals fan as sad as this sounds I have never been to the queen city. (Not for lack of trying) but I figured I would ask everyone on here how do you like living there and would you recomened it?

Ive not been downtown in about 6 years (but will for the 1st game of this year). I couldnt live in Cincinnati as I like having things to do every night if I want (like DC has) and like my city's main areas to stay realitivly clean. (Which is why I coulndt live in NY city either)

it less expensive than cities like atlanta, chicago. But more expensive than louisville, nashville. Basically the bigger city you want to live in the more it is going to cost. There is plenty of stuff to do around here, we have the reds(mlb), cyclones(echl), jugle kats(afl2). We have a large vareity of concerts come to town every year. One thing cincinnati is lacking is outdoor recreation.

I've lived in several states and have family in a lot of others

The NKY/Greater Cincinnati area is by far one of the best places to live when you count everyting up

Lived in the Va Beach Area for a short time, hated it,

Lived in San Antonio Tx for a little while, hated it

Lived in the Fla Keys for 7 years, loved it, a little too hot in the summer, couldn't afford the millionaire lifestyle it takes to have fun there

Brother lives in Seattle, I love it there myself but a little pricey and some long periods of wet weather

Uncle lives in Pensacola Fl, alright, little cheaper than South Fla but still too hot in summer and bugs eat you alive.

Maybe I'm whacked but I love it right here in good ole Cincy

You know, I haven't lived in Cincinnati for almost 20 years but the downtown area used to be really nice. Has it gone to shit since I left? Last time I was home we were down around Fountain Square etc... and it didn't seem to have changed that much.

ATB is Andre Tanneberger. He's a German DJ who's pretty well known. His style is like ambient/trance/dance/club. If you're into Dig and Oak i think you'd like him.
