the donkey slayer
its wasnt mileys call, it was the 3rd base coach's fault if anything [post="73238"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
maybe, i'd think he'd have a say in a call like that. whoever made the call, it wasn't very smart. aurilla is a bit disapointing so far but it's early. Guest oldschooler
Well so much for going 162-0 or wire to wire. Anyway ...how do you give up a 2out- 2 run single to Roger Clemens ? Oh well...hopefully Wilson gets a win tonight !
akiliMVP
Can't win em' all I guess, especially when you average 12 strikeouts a game. Is there a clear or cream that gives you patience at the plate? Anyways, at least Ortiz looked pretty good, I was worried he was going to blow hard. -Dan_Bengals_FL-
I think it is time for the Reds to trade Griffey. That is if they could find any takers.

The Reds pitchers nibbled WAAAYYY too much last night. He was pitching to Clemmons like he was Babe Ruth.

They have paid him for the last few years while he was injured (playing the game) now that he is healthy let him PRODUCE like he is capable... I`m a HUGE Griffey fan ...and I think him being WITH the Reds is better more than to trade him for some "prospect" ....
WhoDey48
with the trading griffey thing... i think we switch awound our outfielders alot of the time to give dunn kearns griffey and willy mo all their chances...by the trade deadline whoever is doing the worst could be good trade bait for some more pitching. but if we are winning with switching aournd our outfielders to get them all time, or a couple games ahead in first place...maybe you just dont trade them and keep doing it. why fix something thats not broke. but i could see one of our outfielders being traded for pitching aroud nthe trade deadline. the donkey slayer
i hope wilson throws well tonight. who is this brandon backe houston has throwing? he's 6-4 with a 4.98 era for his career. never heard of him before tonight. hope we can wake up the bats unlike last night. let's go redlegs!!!! akiliMVP
I predict a score of..... ..... ..... ..... ..... 8-5 reds score 3 in the 7th and win it. Dunn hits a homer, as does griffey. Wilson gets rocked for 3 runs in the second, calms down and lasts to the middle of the sixth.
the donkey slayer
miley's on 700wlw and said that freel tried to steel home on his own last night. he was supposed to take two steps and bluff as jimenez attempted to steel second. freel must still be hungover from his adventures after opening day.
