In the hunt full mock (up to our pick)

Recommended Posts

1-18 Mock

1. Kansas City - Geno Smith - QB: Pick hasn't changed in a while, best way to start over is a new signal caller

2. Jacksonville - Jarvis Jones - DE/OLB: Babin can't make them any worse... still need a front 7 presence, best prospect by far

3. Oakland - Manti Te'o - MLB: Rolando McClain was a good young player, just an off field pest at times, Te'o is 2nd best defensive player.

4. Philadelphia - Luke Joeckel - OT: ***TRADE*** We saw Cleveland trade up only a spot to get Trent, no reason the eggles can't do the same. (CLE)

5. Carolina - Star Lotulelei - DT: When you give Royce Brown 187 and 2 TDs in his first game, your front 4 needs help, disruptive force from Utah.

6. Cleveland - Bjoern Werner - DE: ***TRADE*** Need someone across from Sheard, the German DE has been inconsistent, but had a nice finish. (PHI)

7. Buffalo - Dee Milliner - CB: Stephon Gilmore was a great pick last year, but, hey, your still one of the worst pass defenses in the league.

8. Arizona - Matt Barkley - QB: ***TRADE*** Yes he hasn't had the best of years, but Larry Fitzgerald doesn't have anyone to throw it to him. (SD)

9. New York (J) - Barkevious Mingo - DE/OLB: One of two things are bound to happen, Mark Sanchez will be gone or the Jets getting better pass rush.

10. St. Louis - Jake Matthews - OT ***TRADE*** Need a OT and a WR, heres a OT. (TEN)

11. San Diego - Justin Hunter - WR: ***TRADE*** Hunter was a reach at 8, not now. (ARI)

12. Detorit - Taylor Lewman - OT: Part of Staffords inconsistent play this year was not a lot of pass protection, here's some hometown help.

13. Tennessee - Jon Hankins - DT: ***TRADE*** Best player available to a team that needs front 7 help. (STL)

14. Miami - Sam Montgomery - DE/OLB: His slide stops at South Beach.

15. St. Louis - Keenan Allen - WR: Here's that WR I was talking about earlier.

16. New Orleans - Sheldon Richardson - DT: Will Smith is getting worn out, he carried this medicore front 4, need new blood.

17. Dallas - Barrett Jones - OL: If they don't get Barrett Jones, I've lost all little faith in this pathetic evxcuse of "America's Team".

18. Cincinnati - C.J. Mosley - OLB: One of my favorite prospects in the draft, can play all LB positions in a 4-3 or 3-4.

Rest of our draft

2a. Alex Okafor - DE

2b. Joseph Randle - RB

3. Baccari Rambo - S

4. Sanders Commings - CB

5. Best Available OL - OL

6. Best Available WR/LB - WR/LB

I could see Randle going late in the first. He will probably be the best all around back in the draft.

yea I think Randle will go sometime after the Bengals first round pick (low 20's) and before their 2nd round pick from the Raiders (mid-30's).

He's expected to be the first running back selected at this point. I could see a RB needy playoff caliber team like Green Bay using a late first on him.

Forget about Gio Bernard everyone, in my mind I prefer Randle over Gio, but most scouts have vice versa.
it may seem a little bit pipe dreamish, but I can see it happen. Still have combine and workouts.
BTW, if GB picks an offensive player in the first, it will be a WR or an OLineman.

Just in case you were wondering, if Randle and Bernard are gone...

Stephon Taylor
Eddie Lacy
Le'veon Ball
