The point is this law is a violation of the 1st amendment's establishment clause and will fail when it gets to the courts.

He was also an atheist who didn't believe in any religions or Gods existence...

I honestly don't care what they believe as long as they are good people.  I've never run into an atheist that was a horrible person. They have been good people because they think they should be and not because someone is telling them they are going to go to hell if they are bad. (I will admit some have been antagonistic at times).  In my life I have encountered way more so called Christians that are flat out shitty people and/or really don't follow Jesus' teachings and say they do.   

 

Don't do horrible things expecting forgiveness, just be a better person, respect others, and try to help people if you can.
