Arkansas Bengal Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 chris roling Tue, Dec 3, 2024, 3:00 PM CST·1 min read 9 Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (9) throws passes during warmups before the NFL Week 11 game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow put the team on notice after the Week 13 loss to the Pittsburgh Stealers. But he also appears to have shot a message at fans. As fans caught on social media on Monday, Burrow reshared a story on Instagram that featured a quote from himself: "Still an exciting opportunity to pay for this team and this city every week...that's something that I don't take for granted." Burrow resharing something the team's account put out on social media isn't all that uncommon. For all fans know, he doesn't even control his Instagram, right? But there's another angle to this -- fans could easily view this as Burrow confirming he hears the noise and feels the anxiety of a city that has had star quarterbacks in the past say goodbye earlier than expected. Burrow, the hometown Ohio product, though, isn't going to be one of those. https://sports.yahoo.com/did-joe-burrow-just-send-210032475.html 1 Quote
Le Tigre Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 He also has the maturity to understand that life in an NFL franchise is cyclical. Today’s down is tomorrow’s up. Going somewhere else doesn’t guarantee success. And, this is HIS team. He is the unquestioned tip of the spear. Quote

If he does want Taylor gone there is a strong chance it happens. Except contracts and stuff, you know... Quote
