  2. ^ Backwards hat Burrow is this year's sensation ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿงข and I'm here for it
  3. Players want more guaranteed money on longer contracts. They don't discount themselves for free, after all. And the Bengals don't like to pay out guaranteed money after the first year.
  4. The odd part is that it's not too hard to stop NFL running games. If we had a thumper or two as backup LBs, we could rotate them in and bulk up.
  5. Today
  6. In his time at Georgia, Mims had a completely clean sheet ... Holding penalties = 0 False starts = 0 Sacks allowed = 0 QB hits allowed = 0 Can't wait to see the dancing bear ๐Ÿป at practice on Friday ๐Ÿงก
  7. Like a puma stalking it's prey ... Mike was soaking up that Shiesty aura โ˜€๏ธ
  8. I would love to see Ossasi play LB and have him be a joker who switches sides on passing downs to rush the passer or helps out in the run, he's a crazy athlete who needs to be on the field more, IMO.
  9. As a general rule I would never have a player on a 1 year contract. It only benefits the player and gives them all the leverage. 2 year contracts should be the minimum. Gesicki and Trent Brown should have both been on 2 year deals, just in case either of them shines in their new role, you get the second year at a discounted rate. But alas ...
  10. Agreed, this defense is built to play with a lead and defend passing attacks. They struggled against physical teams that focus on running the ball, which is what the teams in our division love to do; if you can't stop them from doing that then it's going to be a long day at the office.
  11. True. Lou is the only defensive coordinator in the NFL to basically play a 4-7 defense ... 4 DL, 7 DBs (2 pretend to be LBs, but were college S). He's eliminated the traditional LB position from the team for all intents and purposes. A 4-7 can be lethal when your team has the lead, but it's predicated on having the lead (with a healthy Burrow). When you get down in games, it's Achilles heel is that you can pound the run against it if you have a good run blocking OL (see Cleveland, Baltimore).
  12. I'm also thinking since he is on a one year contract (kind of a surprise) that he will be playing for a lot more via a plump extension. Good on him!
