  1. Sounds like a guy ZT & JB would never let in the locker room...
  2. Mahomes just restructured his deal to save the Chiefs ~$22M in cap space this year to (likely) keep Sneed after the Jones extension. Burrow did say he wanted to follow the Chiefs & Mahomes blueprint, no...?
  3. Believe he's mocking Tiki Barber who said this about Barkley after "signing" with the Eagles.
  4. His interest was a tweet of beating the Chiefs. Nothing specific about the Bengals.
  5. Seen it reported that Tee's camp (agent) did shut it off and basically laid out the demands to not return to the table until they were met. Regardless the trade request is a last ditch effort by his agent to exercise any leverage (which is none) to try and force their hand. Let's also remember that the reporting breaking news experts like Schefter are basically just mouth pieces for these agents. Maybe if Tee wanted to be here he could reach out to his agent to find some middle ground? I think both sides have a hand in this, but if you take a look at Pittman's recently signed contract today I can't imagine the Bengals were that far off from that offer. Seems the Tee camp wants more than market value.
  6. Well, that was pretty much self inflicted since it was Tee's camp (agent) that said they wouldn't negotiate in-season and now wanting to cash in on guarantees after a pretty injury riddled season. I'm not blaming Tee but this has been a two way street all along.
  7. Not to worry. The first three words means it won't happen.
  8. To be fair on Fant, he played in a crap offense in Denver and then a mediocre one that had DK, Lockett and eventually JSN on the outside in Seattle. You're not looking to replace many targets here and I think he's excellent with the ball in his hands after the catch. Much better than what the Bengals currently have and have had since Burrow has been here.
  9. Hayden Hurst being released as well, although his last concussion will probably scare teams away.
  10. Swore I read somewhere that it was a "similar" injury but not considered as severe as his previous one. Too lazy to go search for it though...
  11. Thanks to Spags and that defense + playing Mr. Irrelevant + choke artist Shanahan. Their passing offense was pretty pedestrian all offseason and probably would have been better had everyone not named Kelce been dropping the ball left and right. Two things aren't always the same.
  12. It could rain tomorrow too. What a waste of an article, literally no insight lol.
  13. This team / front office has never had a problem identifying and acquiring talented WRs. Not worried about the prospects of having to backfill. And keep in mind, Boyd only had over 50 yards receiving in only 5 games this year (59, 53, 117, 56 and 52) with an 39 YPG average and that was even with Tee missing significant time this year. That's no knock on Boyd because he's been fantastic here but that production isn't exactly lighting the world on fire.
  14. Bill is joining Brian in Nashville. Callahan part down there. Browns take a hit.
  15. From that list I'd totally be a "Swiftie", not sure why he's so undervalued. He runs hard.
  16. Bengals interviewed former Seahawks OL coach Andy Dickerson for their offensive coordinator job today. (per Michael Silver). ZT and AD worked together with the Rams.
  17. Apparently the NFL has come out and said there is no truth to this. Also, the weather in Buffalo doesn't look to be that bad now. Maybe 1-3".
  18. Not necessarily. Kyle Rudolph won the social media challenge a few years back, but Chris Long won the actual award.
  19. Middle of second round. He was awesome at ND too. Steal.
  20. They've gotten really good production from free agent signings: Thornhill S Okoronkwo DE Tomlinson DT Takitaki LB And traded for Zadarius Smith who has been huge for them.
  21. You sure that wasn't just artificial crowd noise inside Lucas Oil Fire Hazard Stadium?
  22. x100000 Sat with him during dinner at a Bengals 50 Anniversary celebration. Couldn't have been more down to earth and engaging. Walked away thoroughly impressed, you could tell why he was such a leader in the locker room.
  23. But it has for where they have the highest % of those dollars invested. The problem is they can't play 100% of the snaps and what's behind them when being spelled and/or injured is mostly pooptastic.
  24. Knowing they did it in Game 1, if they went in to that game without a counter-attack to that strategy, that is a bigger problem.
