This one hits a little close to home with me. I have a dear friend whose daughter was born with Trisomy 18. She only lived a week. There was no question in my friend’s decision to have the baby, knowing this. It was a brave decision on my friend’s part. I don’t know if I could do it, to be honest with you. I also wasn’t aware of the health risks to the mother associated with this. Point is, it shouldn’t be up to the legislature. It shouldn’t be up to the judges. It should be up to the mother and her doctor. No branch of government should have the right to determine a mother’s future ability to have children, especially a branch of government run mostly by men. (And let’s face it, most of them are.)

With all the knowledge I obtain on this site, I come off as smart about football, especially at work, and especially with one of my fun but high maintenance clients who is a diehard Bengals fan but is constantly amazed at what I can tell him, and tells me so. Today he said I had my best comment ever when I told him that Ryan Finley was now a professional pickle ball player. (Note: I’ve had this client for over 20 years.) I was in Bloomington once when my nephew made the ill-advised decision to get married there...the day of the Battle for the Old Oaken Bucket...at Bloomington...and also had his reception on campus the night Jeff Foxworthy was appearing there.
