Hamilton County should likewise be asking what the family is going to do to field a winning team if they want taxpayer paid improvements. he isnt pressuring fucking anyone. its wild that people think joe is some hardass rogue QB setting the stage.. The neogiations have a;lready been done at LENGTH with Chase and Tee, the front office knows what they want, they also meet with joe and see what he is willing to do if it comes to it to keep everyone. the team and joe spoke of all of this before joe said a damn word publicly. its laughable that people think he just pulled it out of his ass on his own to stick it to the man. what about his entire life makes you think that? Joe is incredibly smart, thoughtful, and careful individual, but that doesnt fit the dumbass fan narative, so here we are. fans are stupid and the media is lazy... rinse and repeat. Burrow should keep doing what he's doing. Don't change a thing. lmao. lmgdfao... The only people who will hold it against him are that rare breed, all too common in Bengaldom, of FO apologists who somehow think defending bad owners or coaches proves their kind of loyalty is the real kind (these are the same people who love their daddies for all the abuse they heaped on them because it "made them stronger," so you kind of have to pity them a little). no he isnt... no one holds anything against joe.. no one.. anywhere.. so you took a fake narrative. created you own SECOND fake narrative that also doesnt exist... and bashed an imaginary group of people over a fake narrative that you made up in your head.. is everything ok? how did you get to that point? who the fuck holds anything against joe? WHAT are these fictional people holding against joe? are these people holding "something" against joe in the room with us right now? this is a disease. 2 Quote
I_C_Deadpeople Posted February 16 Report Posted February 16 I think a lot of people disagree GoBengals. Burrow would not be making those statemnets IN THE MANNER he is unless he is intending to pressure the FO. He could have just as easily said 'I hope we sign them all, that would be great'. But he said we CAN sign them all and need to. Difference. Language matters. He is a smart dude and he is leaning into it as they say. 6 Quote

Not to mention he has never done that many interviews in such a cluster like that. Yes it was Super Bowl week, but he had to have made more media appearances than any other player in New Orleans. It was very unusual behavior for him. Still pissed me off the way Stephen A. Smith smirked when Burrow said that he believed the Bengals front office could and would do all of this. But unfortunately they know what Burrow proposed would go against the organization's long history. Only one way to knock the smirk off their faces... 3 Quote

You do realize the Super Bowl was in Nawlins, right? In Louisiana? The State where Burrow had arguably the Best Season any College QB has ever had? And he was coming off one of Best QB Seasons in years in the NFL? And you're wondering why he did so many Interviews? Really? 1 Quote

Really? Well aware. He was down there with his parents and some of his friends. Have you ever been? Plenty of things to do down there besides talking to the press. He wanted to talk to every talking head in town. So he did. 7 Quote
