|Bunghole|
I think if Miami's opponent is Dallas, the Heat will fall. At least I hope they do. I hate Shaq. He is worthless. His only "skill" is that he is bigger than anyone else so he can bully his way to the basket for the two-foot layins or monster dunks that account for 99% of his scoring. He can't shoot, can't dribble, can barely pass and can't shoot free throws. He isn't much in the basketball skills department, he's just HUGE. Dwayne Wade, though, is another story. That guy is one of the best 4 or 5 players in the leauge right now.

Hence my feelings on him.

sois
Shaq is an awesome passer. He has nice touch for a big man. Very nimble when he is in shape. He is big, but that isn't his fault. If being big was the only requirement for awesomeness, the equally-sized DeSanga Diop should be producing the same amount as Shaq. Same height, but Shaq is fatter. In fact, that should make him worse than Diop, not better. Despite his shortcomings, Shaq is dominant!

sois
People that say Shaq can't shoot, dribble, pass.. etc: Don't you think you should give him credit for being as great as he is despite all of these flaws? I mean, a guy who can't dribble making it in the NBA is about the equivalent of a man making it in the NHL without the ability to skate. Horray for Shaq!!! Guest BlackJesus
[b]Shaq is the best C since Wilt Chamberlain. Also even on an off night, he makes everyone else better just with his prescence. He is like a dominant LT in the NFL, some of his value isn't noticeable right off the bat, but he changes the way the other team has to play his team. They have to put 2 guys on him at all times .... basically making his team play 5 on 4 .... He is the MVP of the league every year since he has been in the league .... regardless of what they want you to believe. Heat in 6, regardless of opponent. I mean, a guy who can't dribble making it in the NBA is about the equivalent of a man making it in the NHL without the ability to skate. Horray for Shaq!!![/quote] If I was 7 foot 2 inches and weighed 350 lbs (an uncommon weight for basketball players, regardless of position, I'll give him that, often Shaq balloons to even more than that weight, Shaq is an absolute freak of nature in that regard....he's no Manute Bol or Shawn Bradley as most Stretch Armstrong centers are....) and I could catch the ball off a dribble pass or bounce pass and turn around and either lay it in from 4 feet away or dunk it, then I would be Shaq. And Shaq makes it in the NBA despite his lack of skills because he is the rarest combination of height and weight that the game has ever seen, hence my dislike for him. I like ballers that can pull up for the jumper, not lumbering behemoths that just smash their way into the lane, getting ref favoritism because of it and having a 5 inch vertical to dunk the ball. It's just me...Shaq is a great player because of his size, not his skills, which are really not all that. That's all I'm saying. Agree or not, I don't care. I'd rather have a thousand Hakeem Olajuwon's than one Shaq.....
