Jason
I still think the original Superman was best. Behind that are Batman Begins, Batman, the 3 X-Men movies, and the 2 Spiderman movies, all about equal in my mind. After that I'll go with Superman Returns, Fantastic 4 (mostly because of Jessica Alba) and Superman 2.
kdubdub
saw it last night at midnight its bad. by far the worse of the three mvoies. if you are waiting for venom, show up about 2 hours later sandman story was unecessary to the whole movie alot of lifetime movie moments with mary jane over all just a really bad movied that killed the franchise almost 1 1/2 stars out of 4
That basically sums it up. The tried to do too much with Venom, Goblin2, and Sandman. They should have just focused on one badguy. The Venom story would have been better as the entire movie because the story could have developed more. The movie seemed rushed and too much of the love story. Farbeyonddriven
It's hard for me to judge this being a huge Spiderman freak. But... The action sequences were some of the best I've seen. The cheesy parts made me want to kill someone (when he is dancing through town) , did anyone else notice the horrible acting of the reporter? I agree that they should have developed the Venom story a little more. The best Superhero "flicks" of all time are (in no order) The X-men trilogy (especially 2) The original Batman (nostalgia) Batman Begins Superman (though never a big fan of Superman) The Crow (not sure if this fits here, I guess it would, my absolute favorite movie) V for Vendetta -E

I just saw it. It was pretty good, but it wasn't great. It could have been great if they cut about 20 minutes out. 2 hours and 20 minutes was just too long. Had they cut some of the slow parts out, the movie would have been much better IMO. The last 20 minutes or so were stellar, and others have said the cgi was great. Batman Begins owns Spiderman 3 though.
EnglishBengal
I saw Spiderman 3 today with a mate. Not bad. Not bad at all. It had a lot going on in this one - 3 or 4 storylines intertwined. Without giving too much away, the film seems to tie up some loose ends, be more moralistic than the other two, and the stunts are brilliant. By the way, SANDMAN FUCKING RULES!!! ColorChanginClique
I can't believe all the haters. I'm a huge spiderman fan and I loved 1 and 2 and 3 was just as good to me. Probably my favorite one. I loved how the intertwined all the villains, I think they did a good job with it. And the last half hour was so fucking good. The Spiderman movies are my favorite but I'm kinda biased. Batman Begins was one of the best as well. Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow made that movie for me.
