5 Guys is to Fudruckers what Albert Enistien is to Forest Gump. Best hamburger I've ever had period.

Yeah south of DC, but not that far south from DC you could get to one in probally 10-15 min.

Well, DC is a long haul for me, I haven't been there in years.

The furthest south I usually go is to Atlantic City.

I go several times a year though.

The closest 5 guys is still probably a couple of hours away. <_<

Do they do take-out? Maybe you could bring one up to AC for me. :P

Edit: Oh and the fries, put it this way....they come in a paper bag with the burger, about the size you probally used to take your lunch to school, and they fill the bag with a small order, never get bigger than a small order, and the oil seeps through the bag, man I think im gonna have to go this week now..... mmmm 5 guys.

Best sandwich restaurant near Cincy is Izzy's!

used to be downtown but moved to the good side of the river a couple of years ago

They have the best Reuben I've ever eaten and the potato pancakes they serve with it is delicious!

A visit to Izzy's can be a drama also, they are famous for having short tempers with employees and customers and you can watch as the cooks and servers argue amongst themselves.

about 15 years ago I was at the Izzy's downtown and a fight erupted behind the counter as we were leaving, one of the employees actually stabbed another employee and ran out of the store and was hit by a car right in front of us! Didn't find out the whole story until we got back to work and heard it on the radio!

Awww come on Go... you know what i always say in times like these:

*enter keyboard*

"And friends are friends forever
If the lord’s the lord of them
And a friend will not say never
’cause the welcome will not end
Though it’s hard to let you go
In the father’s hands we know
That a lifetime’s not too long to live as friends."

Now give J Dub a hug...

I haven't eaten at Culvers for a while, the burgers were good, but not addicting.

Best sandwich restaurant here (Suckramento, CA) is Joe's Deli. It's small, and not a chain but GOOD LORD! French roll, mounds of warm roast beef, thick swiss cheese, and au jous. I have trouble eating the whole thing.

Funny you should ask... when the server (forever now known as filthy whore) brought our food out, she handed it low, hit my cup, knocked it over into said ketchup on the left..

Got ketchup on my cups lid (all praises to the Allah for the lid not coming off) but left a nice mess... btw ketchup and root beer don't make for the easiest of clean ups...

So what did filthy whore (forever now known as F-Dub) do? she just picked the cup up and walked away....

no sorry... no offer to help clean up this disaster... just.... walked....away.....

whatever...........

filthy whore

That is hysterical.
It's like the commercial where the guy's in the diner and when his sandwich is delivered, he lifts the slice of bread and says "Umm, Miss, I asked for no mayo?"
And she grabs the slice of bread and scrapes the mayo off onto the side of the table and replaces the bread on top of the sandwich...she even pats the bread a couple times as if to reassure it...I love that commercial...

F-Dub better have gotten a 50% tip for her insolence...
