[/quote] Yep and there are some things in it that I like a whole lot. No longer can a insurance company deny the pre-existing condition. (I have a friend of a freind that got denied because she had a pre-existing condition of medically treated acne. I wish I was joking.) I like that college kids are covered on their parents insurance until the age of 26 Not going to complaing about that stuff at all. Will complain that I wish it was single payer instead. [/quote] Not me, I don't vote for muslims. Seriously though, I don't really care for this bill. I'm not for it or against it becuase as I mentioned much earlier, this is another attempt to solve a problem by attacking the effects rather than the root of the problem. I've heard decent arguments for and against, but I've never been totally sold on either side. I do however still feel that people are generally stupid and will lean towards selfish desires. [/quote] I'll agree with the pre-existing condition scenario... they shouldn't be allowed to cherry-pick the "insured" that they want to because they're more profitable... if you offer insurance to one person in that state you have to offer it to every person in that state, etc. But, there are several components that I disagree with. Now, I hate insurance companies with a fiery passion, but, if those numbers are true, I would have to think there is a much better target for our collective hatred and ire.
