|Bunghole|
Or could be the growing exasperation of the "common voter" at the ineffectiveness of both parties with no real third party to vote for? So in effect the only choice every time is change even though they know the change will not help? This poll to me just illustrates the growing discontent of the voters with ALL politicians and BOTH parties.......
I agree to an extent that the disaffected voting group is becoming larger and larger but there's still plenty of partisanship to go around too. CatScratchFever
Why because I lean left? That must be the dumbest thing you've said here in a while, and it still doesnt address the stupidity of the average voter.
Dear Jamie, I'm just another American trying to get by in this crazy world. I've got pretty much the same priorities as most: family, a job, my modest home, living my life the way I want to. I pay my taxes. I struggle a bit to pay the bills, but I'm usually able to put away a little for a rainy day. I worry about losing my job sometimes, and how that might affect my way of life. I have what most would consider an average education these days. High school, college degree. I did a little better than most in some subjects, not as well as others. I always thought I was pretty well-rounded. I watch the news on several channels, and surf the net for info, too. Until now, I had no idea I was so fucking stupid. I'm glad we have such brilliant and enlightened people like you to lead us out of the desert, Jamie. We can't all be ivy-league geniuses, you know. Thank God there are tolerant and open-minded people like yourself who understand that everyone has had different experiences in their lives that lead to different opinions. Thank God there are people like you that understand that every issue is not black and white. Thank God there are people like you who understand that those with differing opinions must be blithering idiots, and can't possibly have opinions that are well thought out and equally valid. If only you could explain your point of view and not have to deal with such closed-mindedness then everyone in the world would stand up and agree with you. Please deliver us from darkness and the tyranny of our own thoughts. I'm glad there are "above-average" voters out there like you, Jamie. You give me something to strive for. Your level of superiority is a lofty goal I may never reach. Maybe if you told us your secret to eternal omnipotence and intelligence, we can all be above average like you, too. However, if you do decide to share, please be sure to run the spell-checker first. Sincerely, Average Voter

-GoBengals-
The other way to look at that is 80% don't think so, leading one to believe that voters are probably 80% trustworthy.
yea but that entire 20% is coming 100% out of the red...
