The development is not surprising as Paul has signaled in the coming months that he is pursuing a run. The senator, who was elected in 2010, has signaled he will officially announce his candidacy in April. Paul was elected to the Senate in 2010 and is a favorite amongst the conservative Tea Party. He recently took the straw poll at the CPAC event last month.

Go Skins
http://www.eonline.com/news/643596/rand-paul-announces-presidential-bid-for-2016-election?cmpid=tweol-manual We have another contender! Sen. Rand Paul officially announced Tuesday morning that he will be running for president in the 2016 election. He broke the news on his campaign website, writing, "I am running for president to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government." The Kentucky senator's site also says he's running to "restore liberty and prosperity for ourselves and for future generations." He is scheduled to declare his candidacy at a rally in Louisville, Kentucky. Before entering the world of politics, Rand, 52, owned his own ophthalmology practice and performed eye surgery for 18 years. He was elected to the senate in 2010, marking the first time in congressional history that someone served in the Senate while a parent (father Ron Paul) served in the House of Representatives. Paul was assigned to serve on the Energy and Natural Resources, Health Education, Labor and Pensions, Homeland Security and Government Affairs and Small Business Committees. T-Dub
Yesiree! Give us your tired, your senseless wackadoos yearning to be despots! You know what's the smallest of small governments? A King! Who wants to be the first to downplay his family's longstanding ties to the KKK and white supremacists? Come in, planet Juniper! This is Earth, do you read? LOL jk of course you don't read. Try his Daddy's old newsletters for starters. Just make sure your coworkers don't overhear you sounding out some of those words.

Khatmandude
When will we learn, that these 2 parties are 2 sides of the same coin. When will we stop taking part of this charade that is 'elections'. The next president is already selected, but sure, go out and vote and think you're playing a part of this democratic process and wear your "I VOTED" today button with pride.....without you, this silly game couldn't continue. The game is rigged, the table is slanted.....

T-Dub
You should run for office and fix it. Good idea. Focus on the evils of Sharia law and offer everyone free chicken tenders and see how far it takes you.
