|BlackJesus| Posted August 29, 2023 Report Share Posted August 29, 2023 The problem with any QB2 from another team, is that they will not have enough time to learn the playbook before Week 1, or even Week 2 or Week 3. So If Burrow can't go to start the season, Browning or Sinnett who at least know the plays already are better options. Now if the argument that the Bengals need a better long-term option at QB2, that's different. But even Daniel Jones (or pick an average starter) likely wouldn't do better week 1 than Browning would, as he would have very little knowledge of the playbook.
