Arkansas Bengal
Chris Roling Thu, Feb 22, 2024, 3:46 PM CST The Cincinnati Bengals dropped some big news on Thursday, revealing that Paycor Stadium will have new turf in 2024. The Bengals were set to be the only team in the NFL with a slit film turf field next season before the announcement. From the team’s press release: Paycor Stadium will install a new FieldTurf CORE system for the upcoming season. This marks a reunion with FieldTurf, which previously served as the stadium’s surface from 2004 to 2011. With this upgrade, the Bengals become the eighth NFL team to trust FieldTurf, a best-in-class provider, for their home field, following the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New York Jets, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks. Bengals players such as Joe Burrow have commented recently about playing surfaces around the league. https://sports.yahoo.com/bengals-announce-turf-paycor-stadium-214610857.html

Griever
I would absolutely love to see the return of the tiger at mid field. Even if it was the tiger head alone. It could be color swapped for when we go white tiger too! Another thing we could do...zoom up on the eye like they do at LSU. So many possibilities...

Looks like they didn’t bother grooming the field…which I would imagine would require a re-painting. This could also have been after a heavy rain, as the rubber pellets will float to the top. I wonder if this might still be an issue with the new turf.

Tks for the memory 😊 He was an enigma…but loved him anyway. Was at this game at old Connie Mack Stadium as a young lad when he decided he had enough of the local fan catcalls

Bleeds Orange
The leaping tiger and the head are good logos, but they'd be better if they'd turn them around to face the same direction as almost every other logo in sports (except for the Eagles, who do the same thing). Yes, they look a bit odd, but only because we've been used to them being backwards for so long.
