Week 1 - Patriots - news and observations

Recommended Posts

I agree it's not that big of a deal.  (The players walking across the street to the practice field deal.)  BUT, with

all the public assistance the Bengals ALREADY get and now they want to violate ANYONE'S Constitutional Rights

by not allowing them to film player's on a public street from a public sidewalk and they can FUCK RIGHT OFF!!  lolol

BOLD PREDICTION - At least by December Erick All will get more offensive snaps than Gesicki or any other TE on the roster. Even though he wasn't able to practice until a week or two into training camp, he has drawn nothing but praise from his coaches and Burrow. They seemed convinced that All was a Day Three draft bargain.

Burrow has taken note of another rookie, the fourth-rounder All, who has impressed the Bengals brass with his ability to run, catch and block.

"That's a guy that really gets better. That's what you really want to see from a young player," Burrow said. "He's got all the talent in the world, but he banks reps, he learns from his mistakes, can jump high, catch, run fast, those are all things you want to see from a young player. The thing I'm looking forward to and excited about is he wants to get better, he is eager to learn. He's gotten so much better throughout training camp because of that."

Pat McFuck-stick-a-fee kinda pretends to be a friend of the Bengals but he always takes his little shots at them when he can. The cross the street to go to practice topic came up yesterday on his show of course, while enormous dick head (t)Watt was on. The whole thing is so fucking stupid.

Of course it didn't help that when Chase was crossing the street there was a cement truck waiting on him that gave a honk lol. That made me laugh.

Apparently it came up again today with Jay Morrison's tweet tied to it!  The Bengals Brass should be embarrassed!  Not by the fact

the players walk across the street but by the fact they NO LONGER want them filmed doing so!

Nothing additional like what?  Filming them crossing the street from a public sidewalk?  They're already limited to what the league mandates.

If someone from the media were to write about the Bengals violating their Constitutional Rights don't you think the Bengals would back off?

I sure do!  And if the Bengals retaliated in any way, I'd write about that too!

Pretty sure that not all access that these guys are given is league mandated. I know some of it is, but I don't think things like Ted and Orlando going on these Youtube channels is mandated. I'm sure there are other examples but that's off the top of my head.

I'd say the players do the "Youtube", stuff on their own time.  Not much the team can say about that.  And even if they did cut off a reporter for

taking pictures on a public sidewalk, a good Constitutional Law lawyer could prove it was in retaliation and make him and his client a nice pile of

cash and make the Bengals Brass look even worse than they already do by acting so petty to begin with!  This was all done today because of what was

first reported yesterday.  And again today I might add!

You'd like to think but this is also how politicians play the game. You want a sit down interview? Dont write that mean article.

The quid pro quo is common in that industry.

Oh believe me I know.  I work at Amazon.  I remember when Bezos bought the Washington Post and I know exactly why he did.

For political leverage when he opened all those fulfillment centers all over the country and every time he got tax breaks out the

wazoo!  I'm sure you've heard about the "supposed" flaw in Alexa too.  (Reasons to vote for Kamala but nothing for Trump.)  lol

If someone's whining about their Bluetooth speaker's opinion on who to vote for we all know they decided a long time ago 🤷‍♂️

Exactly, so long as it's a strongly worded request they're golden, they're not physically restraining anyone. All they have to do is freeze out anyone not complying - and whatever organization they represent - & everyone will play nice.

If a player got hit by a bus in the crosswalk I'm sure this arrangement would fall apart but otherwise who cares? Weird hill to die on, go film the police or something.

I will add though that for all their supposed media savvy with the nepo-baby takeover they should be aware of the Streisand Effect of trying to hide this.

It's very urban, Midwest blue collar, they should lean into it. Make it a photo op with the players carrying lunch pails & or do an Abbey Road knock-off with the team captains.

It's only embarrassing if they act embarrassed by it.

If the Packers can ride kids' bikes to practice, the Bengals can have their own quirky tradition. Have Chad Johnson show up one day as a crossing guard or something. Media would eat it up.

Yeah if you're relying on information from Alexa to form your opinion on who to vote for, you shouldn't be allowed to vote!

I don't have a problem with the players having to walk down and across the street to practice.  I DO have a problem though

with ANYONE, including cops, not just the Bengals, telling me or asking me to give up my Constitutional Rights.

That's perfect, you know he would be up for it

I would not hate that.
