You could argue the same for LB with the current staff considering they drafted both Pratt & Wilson and neither were 1st rounders. This isn't Marv's staff hanging on to the Caleb Miller's of the world anymore.

Agree on all accounts. And call me nuts but having Jonah on the roster for this season as an injury $12M insurance plan doesn't seem like a bad thing to me given the amount of attrition the OL has seen even as recent as last season when it mattered the most down the stretch.

This is such a crap take, considering he's only played LT for two seasons (at a Pro Bowl Super Bowl winning level) and is only 26 and can only project upwards. This take assumes all things stay constant, which as is the case in any craft, will only improve with more repetition. The Bengals in FA have been pretty adamant in paying players who are only projecting upwards (Reader, Hendrickson, Hilton, etc.). I firmly believe this is the case here as well.

Or have them talk to TJ Houshmandzadeh and he will echo the same sentiments.
