So if the Bengals offer of $28-$29 per is correct they’re closer to his value than his desire for a top of the market salary closer to $40. Low $30s for a guaranteed couple years plus some void/cuttable years makes sense to me as I believe you suggested in a different post. It just doesn’t sound like that’s what he’s asking for but who knows what the real numbers they’ve exchanged are.

I assumed Moss was done when they said at the combine or thereabouts that his neck injury is still an issue. At this point it'll probably come down to some sort of injury settlement and release.

Totally agree about Bruce Smith but Trey isn’t anywhere close to him.
Not sure what the media paradigm has to do with anything. I was simply showing some recent stats of players and saying there's a clear risk to giving $30M+ to a pass rusher entering his 30s. It's not that deep.
