A LETTER TO STEALERNATION

Dear Stealer Fan,

How does it feel to be 1-3?

Words cannot describe how much fun I had reveling in your pain and anguish last night. In all
honesty, I cannot decide which was more entertaining, watching the Chargers thump your
sorry excuse for a team or reading your reactions afterwards.

Hopefully the football world may begin to realize, what we already knew,......your team sucks. Your
fraudulent world chumpionship team will go down as one of the biggest jokes in NFL history, and
your alleged Super Bowl victory rivals only the 1919 World Series scandal as one of the shadiest
flukes in American sports history.

Face it bitches, you were more lucky last year than you were actually good, and this year your luck has
ran out. 2006 will be very interesting in the AFC North. The Bengals and Ravens seem destined
to duke it our for the division crown while your team and your real rival (as far as talent goes) ......The Cleveland Browns, will duke it out for third place.

Before you get too sad, just remember XYNO will always think of you as his little bitches, and you
are always welcome to come here and lick the crack of his ass until your tongues turn doo-doo brown.

Cheer up guys, Adrian Peterson is waiting for you with your top ten pick in next years draft. :)

As pleasurable as that was to read, sneaky, what's the point? They're irrelevant. The only time the Bengals will need to be concered with them will be the final week of the season and that will be our third string. The stealers are going to be excited to actually have somewhat of a chance to beat the Bengals or any team for that matter. The only Bengal that should worry about them is Doug Johnson as the stealers try to win the game at any cost. I wonder who Kimo's replacement will be? Be afraid, doug. Be very afraid.

You know that there 1-3 right? Keep up the good work...you still have Baltimore twice...who will make Ben look like a Scout team QB and us once. Hell the browns may even upset.

Most stealers fans don't think of the Bengals at all. We're always on your mind though. Its apparent, along with Stain fans, that all you think about is stuff dealing with faggots and feces. The who state of Owhoreo is like that.

Since you bring up the Super Bowl,

You've missed a load of the NFL if you think this was the worst officiated NFL game.
The Hasselbeck penalty was wrong, along with the non- call on Porter for horse-collaring Alexander.I didn't believe that Ben got in on the QB sneak either. That wasn't as bad as Vinny Testaverde's QB sneak in 1998, iirc.

There were many other controversial calls.

The helmet-to-helmet on wines hard early in the game. The ref threw the flag then after some discussion, picked it up. When they showed the replay, the Seattle player was shown tilting his head into Hines to initiate helmet-to-helmet contact. Silence could only be heard from the usually vocal Madden because they saw that a call had gone against the stealers.

Farrior was close to the ball when the Jerramy Stevens fumble was blown dead as an incompletion.

There was the Matt Hasselbeck fumble which was ruled not-a-fumble because although he fell down on his own, some Steeler brushed by him, thus making him “down by contact”.

Pitt QB Big Ben was blocked in the back as he pursued the DB who he'd tossed an int to.

So its ok to call an offensive pass interference on Heath Miller on a 2nd and 10 at the Seattle 22 but not on a Seattle wide receiver in the end zone?

Why was the offensive PI call wrong on Darrell Jackson pushing off in the end zone?

Heath Miller got called for one in the Super Bowl.

Why was the hold by Locklear on Haggans wrong when he 1.pulled on the shoulder after being beat.
2 The pulling of the back jersey.
3.The hands weren't kept inside the frame.
Those are all ingredients for a hold.

All you've stated was that a few calls that went against Seattle and the refs are cheating. Face the facts that sometimes an NFL team is going to have more penalties than another NFL team. I guess you believe the refs should call an equal amount of the type of penalties for each team, otherwise its unfair.

Seattle didn't lose because the Refs called a WR PI on Darrel Jackson and a holding call on Sean Locklear for grabbing Haggans and the back of the jersey. Those occured, yet so many think those penalties should've been ignored.

Just in case you've missed it,here's a refresher for you.

These plays mattered more than the penalties.
The Refs didn't give up the longest run in SB history...Seattle's defense did.

2. The Refs didn't bite on a 43 yd trick play, Randle to Ward for a TD...Seattle's defense did.

3. The Refs didn't allow Ben to scramble around on a 3rd and 28 and complete a long pass to the 2 yd. line...Seattle's defense did.

4. The Refs didn't miss two field goals, that was Seattle.

5. The Refs didn't fail to step out of bounds late in the 1st half to stop the clock in Pitt territory in a crunch time situation...Seattle's offense did.

6. The Refs didn't let the 1st half clock tick down from 48 seconds all the way down to 13 seconds before finally running their next play at Pitt's 36 yd line...Seattle's offense did.

7. And on this play, 3rd down, 53 yds away from a FG, it wasn't the Refs who tried and failed to go deep for a TD rather than a safer 5 yrd play and timeout setting up a much easier FG attempt....that, again, would be Seattle's offense.

8. The Refs didn't get confused by Pitt's zone defense and throw an INT...that would be Seattle's QB.

9. The Refs didn't let a little physical contact intimidate them from catching 4 very catchable passes...that would be the Seattle TE Jeremy Stevens.

10. With approx. 20 seconds left in the game, knowing they need a TD and FG, in no particular order, and in easy FG range on 4th down, it wasn't the Refs who ignored the FG and elected to throw up a prayer trying for a TD...that AGAIN would be Seattle.

11. The Refs didn't constantly punt deep into the end zone repeatedly giving Pitt the ball at the 20 yd line. Tom Rouen punted four of his six punts in the end zone....that of course was Seattle.Opportunities to pin the stealers really deep should have been capitalized.

12. It wasn't the Refs who received a Christmas gift wrapped easy INT lobbed in perfect position to return deep into Pitt territory...the lucky beneficiary of that break would be Seattle.

13. It wasn't the Refs who got a break when a Steeler DB dropped an easy int early in the game...that too would be a break for Seattle.

14. It wasn't the Refs who caught a break when a Steeler WR dropped a very catchable TD pass...that break again would go to Seattle.

15. It wasn't the scapegoat Refs that received a break when a WR caught the ball, turned, stepped, was hit hard enough to cause a fumble, and then ruled INCOMPLETE...that would be of course, another chance for Seattle.
(this was an interesting call considering that after Troy's famous overruled Int, the NFL stated that it WAS a catch. If so, than this definitely WAS a catch)

16. The Refs weren't the ones who caught a break when at the conclusion of a 2nd qtr play, as a Pitt DE was walking away, the Seattle Center blindsided the defenseless player, leveling him to the ground. This mysteriously unseen crime was again another break for Seattle.
17. It wasn't the Refs who got a break when Pitt QB Big Ben was blocked in the back as he pursued the DB who he'd tossed an int to...that again would go to Seattle.

Your turn.

Your not just a tool. You are the whole tool shed. You come over here to talk about your super bowl still. Who cares now its a new season???? If you got the referee calls against you game after game I think you would be sick of referees by now. There were a ton of calls in the super bowl that went your way and ultimately changed the game. Most people in the world saw that except stealer fans just turn their nose at it and dont admit that the calls did change the game for their favor. Just like this last week when we lost a game because they call a roughing the passer on a sack. Everybody in the sports world including a lot of NFL "experts" who normally hate the bengals actully side with us for once and think it was the most ridiculous call ever. We get called for BS week after week when other teams do the same exact shit and nothing happens. In the monday night football game Grossman not only got sacked but his helmet came off and he fumbled but there was no roughing the passer on that one. When KK drills the Patriots wide receiver on a legal hit when the receiver caught the ball and he gets a personal foul. However Chad Johnson gets drilled helmet to helmet and it flies off against the browns when he didnt even catch the ball or come lose to it and no call is made. If you make one call make them all.

I was replying to the originator of the thread when he said,
Your

your alleged Super Bowl victory rivals only the 1919 World Series scandal as one of the shadiest
flukes in American sports history.
I went through each call by call in the Super Bowl, yet once again nobody can refute any one of them. No penalties were called in the last 10 minutes of the game,so using them as an excuse is a bunch of bullshit.

The steeelers have had plenty of calls go against them,in the playoffs as well. Most of the time the calls were right, even if we disagreed with them. The 2004 AFC championship playoff game with the Aaron Smith holding on a screen pass, the 2002 Titans playoff game when Joe Nedney acted and the stealers were charged with a roughing the kicker penalty(the right call) and 2001 Patriots AFC championship game when a FG was blocked and a forward lateral occured resulting in a TD but the forward lateral wasn't called and the refs putting the ball on the wrong hash mark after Troy Edwards was pushed out of bounds(it wasn't called that way) so the punt was done again and Josh Miller kicked it straight down the middle, then Troy Brown returned it for a TD. In every one of those games, the stealers could have won and no penalty or call the stealers fans thought was wrong was the reason for the loss.

I could care less what some yahoos said about the penalties in the Super Bowl. Most of those guys are ignorant anyway. The NFL head of officiating,Mike Pereira, explained those calls and if you had any reading comprehension, you would know that instead of ignoring what i said.

Tough it up. The Bengals had chances to win that game.

They're only feeling emboldened because they beat KC by more points than we did (although the venues were reversed, and at least we had trent green for a half) and we lost again.
However, the records still speak for themselves. We're still on top, for now.

It was less of a complaint than it was a stating of the obvious. But you're right, teams that rely on referee's calls to save them always lose....unless they're paid to look the other way... :lmao:
