There is one thing I was thinking about though when I was reading this thread. That is......isn't freestyling like on the spot? I know it is one thing to be able to come up with a rhyme when you have a lot of time to think about it and save it as a word file, but when people battle off back and forth on the spot thats where the real challenge is, I assume. Or is it that people pre-write their face to face battles?

Sounds silly asking all of these questions, but the most I know about freestyling is from watchin a few of my friends mess around lol

I think its a mix of both, you see alot of guys who come up with stuff on the spot, but there are also a number of guys that are always writing stuff down and memorize it for when they do have their battles.
