I think Baker missed a great opportunity there. Instead of batting Patterson in the 5th with Bako on 2nd and no out, I think you could have brought in Hopper and had him put a bunt down the 3rd base line. Penny's not going to go after Bako, plus if he bunts it well enough the 3rd baseman has to come off the bag. Further, Hopper has the speed that he likely beats it out. Now you're 1st and 3rd with no out rather than a man on 2nd with one out.

Oh, and please stop letting Freel attempt to steal on his own.

Make Hopper the everyday centerfielder, platoon Freel CONDSIDERABLY and I shall lift the Hex.

I am now officially swinging of EE nuts, until such time as EE pisses me off again. Or he goes on some monster ball scratching campainge, trying to shake thruman and myself off the ropes.

EE?

Extra Error?

He gives, and takes, and it all evens out to zero?

Thank you. that is EXACTLY what i thought.
You do realize he called you an ignorant ass right>?

BTW yeah 10game hitting streak is just like 600hrs. right kangar?. "dipshit" Go fuck yourself. Cockgobbler.

EE 10 game hitting streak is fucking weak sauce. He gets the one hit a game just like he did last night. When were down 5+ runs and the pitcher doesnt care abou the hitters making contact.

EE's streak is now 11 games.
Hey thurman. Since EE Is so consistent as you say. How come 11game hitting streak broke his old career record of 10.

Lets see EE get a 11game hitting streak when the team is winning, and the pitchers arent pitching with a 5+run cushion every game.

Back to the reds.

Please bring up the future. Bailey. Lets see if hes the future and quite hyping him up.

Send belisle to his grave where he belongs. And Fry up some Frogg LEGS.

I pretty much figured the reds would get swept by the dodgers. But damn at least try and look competitive.

Yeah that post is completely untrue. Pitchers dont get more relaxed about letting hitters make contact when they have a 5+run cushion to work with.

I dont know what i was thinking. Your just always right its unbelievable.

Seems to me the only thing your good at is picking apart my posts. Coming up with your own scenarios its not your thing. Its safer that way right.

lol ok pot.

Seems to me the only thing you're good at is bitching about any opinion you don't agree with. You desperately want everyone to acknowledge that you know more about baseball on the board and that your opinion can't be argued with because some podunk college gave you a partial ride to play baseball. No one gives a shit. Get over yourself.

You don't like EE, who gives a shit, get over it. Playing the "if we weren't losing he wouldn't have gotten that hit" game is fucking weak and only makes you look even dumber.

It's not a coincedence that multiple posters have an issue with you (atleast 5 that I know of). It's not just me. Wake up and smell the coffee. Maybe, just maybe, YOU'RE THE PROBLEM.
So i was just browsing through the reds 2008 salaries.....

And here are a few that stuck out to me.

R. FREEL>>>$3mil
-What in the hell? For a pinch runner and a fill in guy? WHY? Especially compared to N.hopper's $400k. Drop Freel and keep hopper for that kind of money.

Kepp>>>>$400k
-What a steal

A.Gonzalez>>>$4.6mil
-Fucking A. Drop his ass and keep KEPP>

EE>>>>>$450k
-Pretty much a steal again.

J.Castro>>>>$1mil
-Thank god they dropped him. I could think of way to use the extra mil.

J.Valentin>>>>$0
- Thats what it says. Im good for keeping him for that.

D.weathers>>>>$3.3mil
-Good god. He better start performing a bit better than that to earn that kind of green.

T.Coffey>>>>>>$1mil
-DROP PLEASE, for the love of god.

Question the 2 dominican sensations are both valued at 400k currently.
Does that money hold up for the extent fo their contracts with us. Or will they surely renegotiate next year if they continue to perform the way they do?
We still have to pay these guys even if we cut them. Salary shouldn't be a factor on who we keep/cut. Now if we can trade one and unload the salary, that's a different story.

Kangar calling me an ignorant ass doesnt bother me. Most of his opinions of the Bengals are weak.

Wouldnt consistency lead to less large hitting streaks because wouldnt large hitting streaks = someone who is streaky?
