sparky151 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 The child support laws are pretty punitive. The amounts are set as if pro athletes will have decades long careers. Normally their income drops dramatically once they are no longer playing but they sometimes don't know enough to get the support amount changed.
