Bring it on :steelerssuck:. I can't wait for Sunday, game of the week.
Certainly game of the week to us, but I'd guess most people would give that title to the Colts-Patriots.

Is that the same thing you thought the first time?

Please allow me to answer for stealerworld*: But we didn't have Troy last game. And we beat you the last time, you just had more points on the scoreboard at the end.

stealerworld - A fantasy world of colored black and piss where they root for a team that stands up to adversity no matter what. Unless they lose, then they blame it on injured players missing the game. The same thing they ridicule fans of other teams for. And where it doesn't matter who scores the most points, the stealers always played the better game. Another luxury not afforded fans of other teams.

No, I didnt think that last time. It was in your house and we didnt have Polamalu. Say what you want about you thinking he wouldnt have made a difference...but if a game comes down to an opposing QB needing to drive 70 yards for a TD with 2 minutes left, having the best safety in the league in there (or not) is going to make a difference. You guys scored a Pick-6 TD and still needed last minute heroics to win, I just dont see that happening again.

You guys won the last game, you made the plays when you had to. I am not taking anything away from that game, you guys deserved to win.

I am just saying that since then the Pittsburgh offense has found their rhythm (they just shredded the 3rd rated Denver defense in their house) and the defense had remembered how to hold a lead (in the last two weeks they have held Minnesota and Denver to 13 total offensive points, while scoring 21 themselves).

Pittsburgh is top 5 in the league in offense and defense.

I say Pittsburgh wins by 10+ points.

Who's betting?

Pittsburgh is playing better than they were during the first meeting
Cincinnati is playing better than they were during the first meeting.

It should be a good game.

...Oh wait i am suppose to trash talk here.. Ummm.. Fuck the squeelers, the only way they win is with help from the refs as usual.!!!>!>!>

We won't need last minute heroics, our offense finally woke up and learned how to score points in the first half of games. And that Denver team you just beat? Horribly overrated. I wouldn't feel too great about that win as a confidence builder against the Bengals just because we lost to them in the first game of the season. Like you claim, we are also a very different team now than then.

And as for Steelers fans claiming that their team has "learned how to finish games out"...how about them Lions?

I know, I know, we needed overtime for the lowly Browns, those games are always weird for us.

In all, it should be a very evenly matched game. No prediction for the score, as I have no idea how it will turn out. I'll tell you one thing, though...your WR's are going to be overmatched against our corners, which means that you'd better hope Heath Miller gets his groove on or you're sunk.

And as to the thread title, how about "If YOU Want It, YOU Come And Get It, Steelers!". We're the ones in first place, not you. Come take it from us.

Huh? Cinci has the 25th rated pass defense. Pittsburgh has the 5th rated pass offense. Last game our rookie #3 receiver gained over 100 yards on you, Hines Ward gained over 80. Christ, even Limas Stonehands Sweed caught a ball. Ben threw for 275 and completed over 70% of his passes. What makes you think that your pass defense all of a sudden overmatches our WR's?

You mean the game where we sacked Culpepper 3 consecutive times forcing a 4th & 34 that ended with an incomplete pass on thier final drive? Yeah, how 'bout them Lions?

'Those games' are divisional games & they're 'weird' for everyone. Ask the *Pats what happened against the Jets this year.

Our corners generate turnovers. It's our safeties that don't cover well.

That may be, but unfortunately you have two good corners, we have 3 good receivers...plus a good TE...plus a RB that can catch.

You guys may win the game (I still say we win by 10+), but if you do it isnt going to be because you shut down our passing game.

Jaime...you betting or what?

I never noticed the second dirty hit on that play. Shocker that the refs missed it too.

Obviously, if you have any football knowledge (and Harrison was flagged btw), before Harrison slammed that puke Ochostinko to the ground, the defender was simply going for a gang tackle and SilverBack James Harrison decided to take matters in his own hands and SLAM Stinko to the ground. Pittsburgh style. Wasn't that the game that the Steelers knocked the Bengirls out of the playoffs? Laugh my ASS off!

So isn't the stealers' 6-2 record nothing also? And let me guess, when the stealers win a game in the final minute, it's a work of art. A sculpted masterpiece of a comeback that had nothing to do with the other team choking on a big one. And your last two wins had nothing to do with Favre and Orton giving you the game. Favre drove on the stealers most of the game and had two drives at the end where he drove down field just to give up touchdowns. I don't necessarily believe that, but I can play that game too.

OK. I'm done. steelcitybeatdown beatdowns are too easy.

The Steelers 6-2 record has some power behind it. Has some tradition behind it. History shows and will more than likely be proven again that the Steelers will whoop on a team that wishes to be on the same level. Happens every time. As far as the "comeback wins" The Steelers do and did it in heroic fashion. As far as I'm concerned, the Bengals needed some good fortune and as many as 4 or 5 chances to be in position to steal another victory. (The Ravens single handily gave the gave to you with countless number of penalties that should be unacceptable.)

As for Favre, we pretty much shut him down most of the game and came after his ass. Listen, the Steelers know they are going to give up yardage. They are going to give you the check downs, the underneath, and the quick slants. WE KNOW THIS. Truth of the matter is, they will not LOSE that way. As far as Favre giving the game away, don't you think it was the defense that came up with outstanding plays, stopping an attack? That's what separates the Steelers from everybody else, tighting up in the red zone and when it matters. Keisel made a helluva chop on Favre and we scooped it up to the house, something that is ASKED from a defense. Favre looked for the screen, and we again finished the play, and took it to the house. It's simply playing great football at the most opportune times. The Bengals? They need unnecessary roughness penalties to complete the drive for them. FAR from how the Steelers do it. (LAUGHS)

The stealers never get helped by penalties, especially really bad calls?

And if you watched the first Raven game instead of just believing what you read, the Bengals dominated that game and it shouldn't have come down to last minute heroics. They're all blathering on ESPN about how the Bengals only gave up 21 points in 2 games against the Ravens. Actually it was 14, since the Ravens had a defensive TD in the first game.

And 6-2 with power behind it? Hilarious. Who've they beaten besides the two most over-rated teams in the league and a SD team that always struggles early in the season? And you lost to the Bengals and a team that the Bengals destroyed. Strong! And go ahead and blame it on injuries. Of course that's never a factor for teams that the stealers beat.
