The current OSU team is not all that talented. There is not a player on this current OSU team that would be on an All Decade team for OSU. Its a down year but for some reason people ignored that.
it's certainly a down year on the defensive side of the ball, particularly in the secondary. Everyone knew that coming into the season.

As for your "All-Decade" comment, that speaks to the level of talent OSU has had. A down year by your standards and they were still #1.

As for the "All-Decade team", Cameron Heyward would definitely make it. He's the best DT the team has had probably since Dan Wilkenson.

I also think Dane Sanzenbacher would make the team, though OSU has had some great WR's this decade. Justin Boren would be another viable option.

Dane Sanzenbacher is not in the top 10.
Cameron Heyward plays DE and would not be above Gholston or Will Smith and the OL is not very good for the Bucks.

They have had a ton of talent and this is not one of those talented teams. Its a top 15 team that was ranked number one for some reason. That was my entire point. Their is a known commodity bias. OSU played nobody and made it to number 1 while all of their fans were screaming about Boise States schedule.

I'd agree with this for the most part...

Although, like to see Oregon play a team with a strong defense and see what happens. Same with Boise State. I'm not hugely impressed with Auburn - they're two stephen garcia fumbles in the fourth quarter, at home, from having that loss. And, still had to have a stop late in the game against a freshman quarterback to win it.

For my money, I still like Alabama at the end. Their only weakness is pass defense.

Yea I'll admit that I'm not that high on Oregon (can't play defense) and am not sold on Auburn, but at this point you have to put them up there. I have concerns about Boise State's defense as well.

Cam Newton is a monster.

I wonder how he is going to do in the Pro's. Does he project to be a good QB? Or is he just a good college player?

Auburn v. Alabama would be the best title game right now.

I would actually probably watch that. Cam Newton vs. Trent Richardson/Julio Jones/Mark Ingram. Fascinating.
Actually...

Oregon is pretty damn good.

These two will play the week of Thanksgiving with the winner going to SEC Championship and provided they win it, which they should, they could play Oregon. I'd take that. I just like Oregon's offense and would like to see it play a great defense and see what it could do.

Oregon will beat USC by about 24 points or better this weekend.
very glad Oklahoma and LSU got exposed.
and, this.

Mizzou's defense is nothing to sneeze at, that is for sure.

No way that would happen. They are both in the SEC and play each other in November.

My hope is Alabama beating Auburn and Oregon losing to USC. Mizzou and Michigan State
both losing as well.

Only undefeated teams being Boise and TCU. See how messed up that could make stuff
and then hopefully get the system changed.

Ideally for me as an OSU fan it would be Boise TCU as the only undefeated teams with
OSU and Alabama as the two best 1 loss team, so either 1. they have to mess with the system
by putting a non BCS team or 2 in the NC or put OSU back in it and people will be upset either
way.

Oregon and Auburn would be awesome too.

I just think Alabama and Auburn are the best two teams right now. Too bad one of them is going to knock the other one out. Really can't beat SEC football.
