oldschooler
Bengals will move training camp if no deal by July 15 Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on May 27, 2011, 8:27 AM EDT We don't think we're that close to preseason games being cancelled just yet, but we do know a few dates when training camp plans will be affected.Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that a labor deal will have to be reached (or the lockout lifted) by July 15 or the team won't hold their training camp at Georgetown College, their usual location. This follows up a similar report by Albert Breer that said the Jets would need an answer on the lockout by roughly July 1 or their training camp would not be held in Cortland. After that point, the teams would presumably hold camps at their home facilities. July 15 will be an interesting date to watch. Breer believes that's the rough deadline for a deal in order to miss preseason games. AmishBengalFan
They could hold camp in my backyard. There's a fence to keep onlookers out, and I have a kitchen and half-bath in the walkout basement they could use to grab snacks and relieve themselves. Besides, now that Bloomington is part of Reds Country again, they need to close the deal to bring it into the Bengals' fold.
|Tigers Johnson|
It could be in Dayton.... I have heard in the past that Dayton is a very real option when/if they leave Georgetown.

I assume the reason Georgetown would be out is because the Georgetown football team will be needing the field soon after. I'd think the same would hold true for U of Dayton. scharm
I think they should hold it downtown. I think it gives more fans the opportunity to see them. It would draw a considerable amount of people to downtown giving the stadium more use. I think they get 8,000 at G'town for the scrimmage. Hold it in PBS and I wouldn't be surprised to see that number grow to 20K. It would help show off the new banks development and help those new tenants. Judge
If it was anywhere near Columbus/Dayton area I would drive down to see them from Cleveland.
