Targeting is launching yourself into a player, not leading with the crown of your helmet. leading with the crown of your helmet should be a penalty, but its not targeting. Look at the last 5 day games: Hawaii, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Indiana, and Maryland. 5 pretty lackluster performances. Now look at the last 5 primetime games: Wisconsin, Alabama, Oregon, Virginia Tech, Penn State5 championship caliber performances. This team likes the spotlight. He will be out for a while, but they hope he won't miss the rest of the year. Given that Schutt was starting mostly because no one else was better, this will hurt a little.
