THE SCOTUS MARRIAGE DECISION, IN HAIKU.

BY DANIELA LAPIDOUS

- - - -
Roberts’ dissent:

I support you all
No, really, I do, but this
Isn’t our problem.

Alito’s dissent:

“Happiness is not
the point of marriage, fools. It’s
BABIES,” he whispered.

Thomas’ dissent:

“Liberty” – this word,
I do not think Locke means what
You think it means. Sigh.

Scalia’s dissent:

You’re not a poet,
Kennedy. And by the way,
Democracy’s dead.

Kennedy’s majority decision:

Hark! Love is love, and
love is love is love is love.
It is so ordered.

For the sake of discussion, do you think churches and other religious groups will be forced by the government to perform gay marriages?

You mean like a rabbi being forced at gunpoint to officiate a wedding?  Of course not.

Gays can get married

For the Repubs, it's scary

Foot tapping bathroom

I know a lot of Republicans and most of us don't care.  Its only an issue because the bible thumpers make up a sizable voting block and the Morman Romney couldn't get them to support him last time.

Only guy who scares me is Santorum in that regard.
