On Friday, New York Governor Kathy Hochul issued a State of Emergency ahead of the playoff wild card game. The State of Emergency is declared in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Jefferson, Lewis, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, and Wyoming Counties. The Buffalo Bills play in Erie County, which is where Highmark Stadium is located in Orchard Park. Hochul said on Friday that she has activated 100 members of the New York National Guard to be in place in Western New York this weekend to assist with the snow event.
