Bengals share video of Joe Burrow on practice field

Bengals fans got a welcome sight on Monday afternoon.

 

The team shared a video on X that showed quarterback Joe Burrow wearing a jersey and shorts while carrying his cleats as he made his way onto the team’s practice field. Another video showed Burrow throwing a football with the cleats on.

 

 

 

The Bengals are in the second phase of their offseason program, which allows for individual and group drills but not full team work.

 

It’s not clear how much work Burrow will be doing, but having him on the field after he missed the final couple of months of the 2023 season with a right wrist injury is a big step in the right direction for the offense in Cincinnati.

Burrow’s dealt with a variety of other injuries that include a calf injury last summer, so the focus will now shift to keeping him healthy through the offseason and into the regular season.

^ Here is what's scary ... I actually think Burrow looks better. 

 

Perhaps with every injury he somehow gets more bionic and unstoppable. In the same way the knee injury rehab produced Super Bowl Shiesty, the wrist rehab might create Mahomes' kryptonite dynasty.

Sorry to piss on the parade but I'm a little tired of hearing about how well he rehabs injuries.

 

On a more positive note Gesicki is a big target that seems to move well.  Noticeably less wasted movement than the last few we've seen at TE, he catches the ball in stride more like a WR.  He doesn't break a lot of tackles but JB could throw this guy into some open field.

I never get tired of seeing joe. He is that guy. Just remember these days don’t last forever. Just enjoying each day, we got joe chase tee. We shoulda kept bates but whatever move forward get you a ring joe.
