saphead
Pat McFuck-stick-a-fee kinda pretends to be a friend of the Bengals but he always takes his little shots at them when he can. The cross the street to go to practice topic came up yesterday on his show of course, while enormous dick head (t)Watt was on. The whole thing is so fucking stupid. Of course it didn't help that when Chase was crossing the street there was a cement truck waiting on him that gave a honk lol. That made me laugh.

|BlackJesus|
I don't really get the "crossing the street" issue #StreetGate. I think its endearing in a way that the team walks out amongst the "common folk" to get to their practice field. If they put an underground tunnel and could not be seen by anyone, how would that be better? I guess you could put an overpass bridge, but again, then Pat M would make fun of that "Cross the yellow bridge road" bullshit. He just likes taking shots at Mike Brown for some reason, he did so on the lack of a practice bubble for years.

I imagine that if they did that their access to the team would get limited to what league rules mandate and nothing additional. Got to play the game to get the access you want.

Got to play the game to get the access you want. Nothing additional like what? Filming them crossing the street from a public sidewalk? They're already limited to what the league mandates. If someone from the media were to write about the Bengals violating their Constitutional Rights don't you think the Bengals would back off? I sure do! And if the Bengals retaliated in any way, I'd write about that too!

But it's still a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory to suggest there might be collusion between Vegas & the NFL...
Randle P McMurphy
They're, (The Bengals), are just "butthurt", because it's been brought up by the media that they walk across the street to the practice field to start with.

All they have to do is freeze out anyone not complying - and whatever organization they represent - & everyone will play nice. If a player got hit by a bus in the crosswalk I'm sure this arrangement would fall apart but otherwise who cares? Weird hill to die on, go film the police or something. I will add though that for all their supposed media savvy with the nepo-baby takeover they should be aware of the Streisand Effect of trying to hide this. It's very urban, Midwest blue collar, they should lean into it. Make it a photo op with the players carrying lunch pails & or do an Abbey Road knock-off with the team captains. It's only embarrassing if they act embarrassed by it. 2

Telling someone they can't film players crossing a public street from a public sidewalk is playing nice!? That's already happening. And not only is it "not playing nice", it's a violation of everyone's Constitutional Rights! If they tried to "freeze out anyone not complying", that's retaliation, which would get them eaten alive in court along with the Constitution Rights violation! Right which is why I said I'd tell them to fuck off. Nothing they could do. The reporters are already operating under what's mandated by the league. (Practices with no press allowed.) The Bengals are just "butthurt" because it's been covered by the media lately that the players have to walk across the street. That's what started all this. The Bengals NEVER requested the players STOP being filmed from the public sidewalk until it caught traction with the media.
