  2. Change seems to scare them into inaction. The Chase/Higgins contract negotiations seemed to take all of their off-season energy. Sometimes I think the FO just curls up in a ball in the corner when they have to look at doing a large contract.
  3. The pre-Bird/Magic/Jordan NBA. Those were the days.
  4. I've heard getting 1/2 of them to show up ready to go on stage is a miracle. Blueprint is coming through soon. Might go see Cannibal Corpse in a few months, more local shows until then. The big venues calm down when it's still 100f as the show lets out.
  5. Mike Milbury and the Bruins beat them to it.
  6. Got upcoming: Big Sean @ Red Rocks Tuesday Clipse @ Mission Ballroom next month Denzel Curry and Freddie Gibbs in October @ Red Rocks
  7. Wu Tang + Run The Jewels Friday night @ Fiddlers Green in South Denver. Full Wu Tang crew for the first time in forever.
  8. Yesterday
  9. ay where's the off-topic ninja emoji? bring back the OG set anyway the kennedys are so cursed that crazy CIA/mafia/KGB/time-traveler assassinations are only half the story
  10. Yeah, it was a classic mob hit. Hoffa was trying to get back into a leadership position in the Teamsters but the Mob and most of the Teamster leadership did not want the visibility he brought. RFK did everything he could to lock him up in the past to include a public feud. Mafia likes things to be quiet.
  11. I'm inclined to believe Frank Sheeran's account that he was stuffed in an incinerator somewhere outside Detroit, even if Sheeran wasn't actually the one that shot him. Making a former friend pull the trigger as a loyalty test does sound like their kind of logic, though.
  12. Hoffa is stuffed in a 55 gallon steel barrel somewhere near Newark Airport. Jimmy 3 Fingers Milano told me so.
  13. They did give themselves an out after next season that would "only" cost them $7.5M in dead cap. Still not convinced he's part of their long term plans.
  14. The Bengals do seem to operate on a "principle" of least change possible.
  15. The legislature's leaders seem to be planning a short summer session to override vetos. The budget bill passed with super majorities, though individual provisions might be less popular.
  16. Feels like half measures to me. They had plenty of cap space to sign one of the top FA guards but went with a discount option and a couple of scratch-off tickets. Plus depth, as you said - very rare for all 5 OL to start every game. Quarter billion invested in the QB and the best they can do is Lucas Patrick? Seems like they're always trying to do the least where the interior OL is concerned.
  17. I like our tackles, think our Center is decent, like that kid from OSU for the future. Guard is the big question mark, and then depth as well. Well see if the investment they made in the draft pays off or not.
  18. I like Yoshi he's a big target and makes endzone catches easier for Joe to do, but he doesn't get open consistently and especially when Tee or Jamar are not on the field. That said Tee has said he looks good and is more twitchy this season, so well see if that translates to the getting open or not more this year.
  19. Or trade Burton if he really shows out. I'd rather keep Yoshi given the choice...expecting big(ger) things from him this year...we'll see I guess.
  20. That would be a huge mistake, not because the value wouldn't be there but giving a guy a contract who wants to be here only to trade him is going to create animosity for other guys who want to be here. I think it's much more likely they keep Tee, and once Yoshi's contract is up let him go and let Burton slide into that spot.
  21. Not joking, here's some kooks recruiting people to go blow up whatever Doppler radar stations aren't already shut down by DOGE. This is America.
