A lot of posters don't smoke, but other than Kool Keith, I can't think of anyone who thinks it's a big deal. I'm not saying you don't have a right to your opinion, or shouldn't express it, I'm just saying don't expect much support on it. I don't smoke anymore, but only because I keep hoping a better job opportunity will come along and I don't want to fail a test. I don't know anyone on here who really rips the military. Most of the posts in the political forum are from people who hate the current administration, and conservatives in general, but much of the board is made up of younger people. Socialism still sounds like a great idea to some. If you're not liberal at 20 you have no heart. If you're not conservative at 40 you have no brain. Actually, most of the posts are from a handful of people whose views tend to be pretty extreme. There are some military and former military posters among us too though. If you like banging your head against a wall, check out the forum. Some of the more rational people there would probably appreciate some support. Anyone who does not kiss steeler ass is his enemy. He's taken the high road and insists we will all come back. He's even taken to chasing USN to the official boards to attack him over this whole ordeal. I really don't know what happened to him. He must have gotten hold of some bad weed. I wasn't banned but I left out of protest, after telling that bitch Jube off of course. Pong was not posting that often but still showed up every once in awhile when something big hit the news. My apologies to the 2BannedCrew for not being around this past weekend to try and ward this shit off. Guess I picked a bad week to start white-water rafting. Go Blue, Cicero and I tried our damndest to get them to reverse the bannings...but no go (other than Whodey24k). I guess Reichsfuhrer 4th and The Fine Steeler Lady (along with her DaveWorld rejects) had too much pull with the top dogs. They often change their minds daily over there, so just stay tuned. Anyhow...you are all in a good place here...with good people all around. I found this to be a haven during the immediate post-1/8 free-for-all. In case you didn't know...I was banned myself for a time, mainly because I wasn't going to play footsie with the Steeler Hitler Youth or their sympathizers (some of whom were on our board and still are). The same people who were responsible for your bannings, were responsible for mine. Backer suggested I come here, and I'm glad I did. No holding back anything--especially when dealing with Davey's Goon Squad invaders. It's all good. I would understand completely if you never returned to Huddles--even if reinstated. It's the nature of standing armies - they're just pawns. If they're under the control of good men, they'll be reasonably decent. If they're under the control of monsters, they'll become monstrous.
