They need to go younger than Faneca, who's dropped off in play. Leber I only know by name. Herzlich probably belongs in a 3-4, but like the Green, Cannon and Black picks. Replace Herzlich with a DE and IMO its a much better draft. And I now see that you have college free agents inserted in your depth chart. [/quote] like the david baas pickup. vastly underrated player who's finally coming into his own. i wanted to draft him and believe we had a lot of interest in him at the time. I should be someone that can step in and play left guard right away.... Ala Steinback and Whit... I am not really digging Alex Smith either... Christ I couldn't imagine Carson getting hurt and having to watch that turd be our QB.... A question I have is do you think we can sign both JJoe and Ced.... I hope you are right on that part.... Even with the disagreements I have.... your off-season would make the team better for sure... it's all just opinion and speculation.... fun to do.... [/quote] I think you can go either way with the guard situation, but I prefer to get someone who can step into RG right away and put Anthony Collins at LG. [/quote] I think this coaching staff, particularly the ones on offense, have proven that they don't always play guys who should be playing. sparky151 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Share Posted January 22, 2011 The Bengals aren't going to sign 6 free agents from other teams. Hopefully there will be a CBA and free agency period before the draft. I'd tag JoJo if a deal isn't reached in time, try to re-sign Benson, and look to bring in a veteran FA starter on each side of the ball. The Bengals aren't going to spend big bucks so you're probably looking at a guard or center on the offensive side and a safety or linebacker on defense.
