December 23, 201114 yr comment_1078267 What the hell is Walt thinking? He's trading away all our talent to make a run this year, but not really doing enough to compete for the Series. Report
December 23, 201114 yr comment_1078277 Disappointed that Sappelt was part of this deal. Hopefully this trade was contingent on Marshall signing a 2 year extension or something Report
December 23, 201114 yr comment_1078285 Hugely disappointed. Didn't think our pitching was so woeful that Sappelt and Alonso were worth giving up Report
December 23, 201114 yr comment_1078304 What a dipshit! Is Walt getting alzheimers? First Wood, a pretty decent left handed starter, then Sappelt, a guy that swings a pretty good damn stick? And what do we get in return? A left handed relief pitcher in the last year of his contract! That has to be the most bone headed deal since the Frank Robinson trade. The reds have a lot of lefties they can use in the bull pen. They have Bray and Chapman. I didn't realize they let Daniel Ray Herrera go. I thought they were really expecting a lot out of him. I guess Walt is serious about Chapman being a starter, and doesn't believe any of the minor leaguers are good enough for the majors. DAmn that was a lot to give up though. I sure miss Arthur Rhodes now. Report
December 23, 201114 yr comment_1078352 I don't think it's THAT bad. Marshall was one of the top 3 relieves last year and the best WAR reliever since he made his transition two years ago. (wins against replacement) If we can sign him to an extension I'll be very fine with this trade. Report

It was a dumb move. Report
