|Elflocko| Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012
well part of that was thomas Buford stepped up, but I think the struggles of Thomas (their best scorer) had a big impact on the game.
Ah, OK. I don't follow basketball and know none of the players. I was out at dinner with my wife and saw the end of the 1st half, most of the second. Five minutes in to the second I told my wife they were going lose as they were ice cold and Kansas had really taken the momentum... Quote
ickeyshuffler Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 If craft would of thrown an alley oop to him self on that last free throw OSU would of won and gone on to beat KY by atleast 50. 1 Quote

oldschooler Posted December 23, 2012 Author Report Posted December 23, 2012 Dang. That game yesterday was a huge disappointment. Buckeyes shooting was abysmal. Played 2 Elite teams, lost them both. One was at home to a team that beat them twice last season. Quote
Bengal_80 Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 at least they took care of Michigan, but almost seems like they need to find a way to score more points. The biggest thing would be if Craft could hit more of his shots. Quote
oldschooler Posted January 13, 2013 Author Report Posted January 13, 2013 Always a good day when Ohio State beats Michigan! Quote
oldschooler Posted March 6, 2013 Author Report Posted March 6, 2013 That was a big win last night at Indiana! Hopefully the momentum carries forward into the upcoming tournaments. I am so ready for "The Madness" to begin. Quote
JC Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Big Ten Tourney is going to be hella fun to watch this year. Going to be LOADED. Quote
oldschooler Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 Championship game tomorrow against the Badgers! By the way. Fuck Wisconsin. I wish Canada would invade it, run us out of here and keep it. Quote
oldschooler Posted March 17, 2013 Author Report Posted March 17, 2013 wooooooooooooooooo OHIO STATE BUCKEYES hooooooooooooooooo!!!! :headbang: Let The Madness begin! Quote
JBandJoeyV Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 wooooooooooooooooo OHIO STATE BUCKEYES hooooooooooooooooo!!!! :headbang: Let The Madness begin! Had a rough stretch in the middle of the season but theyve been playing great and couldnt ask to be going into the tourney on a better run. Im guessing they get the 2 seed, hopefully they have some good matchups and can make a final four run. Quote
JBandJoeyV Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Wow...a little too close for comfort but Ill take it! Quote
Bengals1181 Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 Kraft played like crap down the stretch til the final shot. He saved himself. I've said it for awhile now, but I still think Kraft doesn't take enough 3 point shots. He doesn't need to take a bunch, but at least 3-4 a game. If nothing else, it keeps the other team on their heels. Kraft was open for that 3 because the defender thought he was going to drive it. Quote
MichaelWeston Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 I can root for the bball team much easier then the football team. With that said that was a horrible charge call and Iowa State should have won. The rule states "Before the offensive player (with the ball) becomes airborne, the defender must have two feet on the floor, be facing the opponent and be stationary to draw a charge. Otherwise, it should be a blocking foul." He was airborne and Craft undercut him. Quote

He had a couple bad turnovers but played great besides that. If him and craft can put up enough points to support DT, they have a shot. Need to rebound better though vs Arizona. Quote

That would have put them up three, if OSU still hits a 3 at the end they could have at worst forced overtime, who knows what would have happened from there. Quote

They went from being a bunch of athletes who can play basketball but had no idea how to play together to a team over the last month. I know that is cliche but that team was pretty bad even though they were winning. It was Craft and Thomas and a bunch of guys with no roles. Scott and Ross especially have stepped up. It will be a fun team to watch net year. 1. There were horrible calls all game that went in Iowa States favor. 2. Yeah they would have had the advantage at that point, but the game would have been far from over. You cant say they would have won the game for sure if they call that foul. That foul didnt lose them the game. Quote

As a small time coach and ex player undercutting a guy like that is about as dangerous a play as there is. Quote
